You watched the clock on your phone screen as you started to hear the rain hitting the ground from the outside of the apartment building.

' oh, it's raining again, maybe i should go out for a walk.' you think to yourself as you take your earphones that has been sitting on the cabinet next to your bed and walked down stairs

"y/n where are you going?" your mom asked you from the living room as she watched you taking an umbrella

"I'm going out for a walk, I'll be back in 30 minutes" you tell your mother that was sitting in the living room watching the tv

"oh alright, be careful ok? don't walk too far away from home, and don't get wet or you'll catch a cold." your mom tells you, you started to put your earphone

"got it, I'll get going now." you said to her as you walked out from the front door

as soon as you went down from the 7th floor you opened your umbrella and started walking

it immediately feels like the time complete stops, Every single thing that's been putting pressure on your back feels like it disappeared in an instant, it feels so calming

'it feels like i can just be me' you thought to yourself as you just stand in the middle of an empty street

you just stared at the gray sky as your mind started to went blank, you just stared at it for who knows how long, and then suddenly you heard a foot step from behind, that caused your thoughts to break as you snapped your head around to look at the person that was walking towards you.

"y/n? what are you doing here?"

"oh chifuyu, it's just you. i thought a creep was trying to mess with me" you said to the man as you stared at him with calm expression

"nothing really, i just want to take my mind off of stuff that's stressing me out, y'know? school stuff" you said to him as you continue to stare at the gray sky and smiled softly at it

"hm, i brought some stuff, want some? we can sit on the swing over there if you wanted to?" he asked you while standing besides you in the middle of the streets

"and plus, I don't think standing on the middle of the street is a good idea" chifuyu said to you with a worried tone

"sure, we can do that, my feet is killing me anyway" you looked at him as you gently grab his wrist while walking your way to the swing

"geez, how long have you been walking for anyway?"
"if I'm being completely honest, I don't know myself, i was stucked in my own thoughts there, that was until you came" you told him while wiping the wet swing seat with your the sleeves of your hoodie

"you shouldn't stand on the middle of street while getting stucked in your own thoughts y'know? what if you got hit by a vehicle?" he stand right in front of you with a not really visible concerned expression that's seen all over his face

"sorry chifuyu, i promise i won't do it again" you said to him while telling him to sit down besides you

as he sits down right next to you putting the plastic bag on the ground, he then turned his head to you and just stare.

"uhm, is there something on my face?" asking him, you then started to touch your cheeks checking if something was on your face

before you could asked him what was on your face, he just cupped the both of your cheeks with the both of his palm, the umbrella that he was holding on his right hand fall to the wet ground, you then jolted at his sudden action and just stared back at him

"chifuyu, is there something wrong?" you asked him yet again, he's never been the one to really do this type of stuff to you, yeah sure he might get a little clingy sometimes, but with the expression that's on his face worried you a little bit

"stop worrying me." he said to you with a sad look yet a soft tone on his voice

"you haven't really been talking to me for over a week, and it's starting to worried the shit out of me ok? i though something happened to you seriously." he then let go of your face he then quickly hugged you with his face buried in your dry hair, his actions caused for the bottled up feelings that were enveloping you to finally leave your heavy heart

"sorry chifuyu, I really am sorry for just disappearing like that." you said to him not really caring anymore over the fact that you were now indeed drenched by the rain

letting go of your umbrella, you proceeded to hugged him back burying your face on his chest

"it's ok, just please next time don't disappeared like that"

"mhm got it, sorry" you whispered to him trying your best to hide over the fact you were tearing up

the both of you stayed like that for a minute or two, as the both of you finally let go of the embrace, chifuyu flinched realizing that you were now soaking wet because of him

"wait, oh shit your mom's gonna kill me" he panicked at your now soaking wet figure, you let out a tiny giggled at his panicking state

"it's ok, I'll just tell my mom that i accidentally let go of the umbrella, it'll be fine"

"that's not the point ok, what if you catch a cold?" he took your umbrella that was on the ground and put it under your head while taking off his jacket

"here use this, it'll at least warm you up a little bit" he said to you while shoving his jacket on your hand, forcing you to wear it

"alright geez, i swear i almost saw your soul left your body" you laughed at him as you wear his jacket

"shut it, alright then I'll bring you home" he said to you still holding your umbrella right at the top of you head, preventing you from getting even further wet, hanging the plastic bag at the umbrella handles while holding his umbrella at his other free hand

"you do know i can just hold my own umbrella,right?" you said to him as you tried to hold it by your own, but he refuse to give it to you

"no, I'm holding it,now stop complaining"

you chuckled a little at his action, you swear that this man can be a complete dumbass yet a caring and romantic guy, who would've thought that the one and only chifuyu matsuno can be a romantic guy.
