a/n I've had this fanfic sitting on my phone notes for at least 4 weeks now, and i just finished it at 4am, and honestly, i am proud of it

"senju!" you called out to the girl, catching the girls attention, she turned her head to look for the familiar voice that had called out for her

"y/n?" she mumbled out in confusion "hey! where are you going?" your head tilted sideways

you were all dressed up prettily for today, that's what the girl first thought about when she landed her eyes onto you, not only that, you had the usual cheerful smile plastered to your face

"I'm just going to the bakery" your eyes glimmer in excitement

"can i join in?" you asked senju, in which she responded with a simple nodded

the two of you met in front of the school's gate, it was your very first day as a high schooler, you were thinking about the story and memory you're about to make in high school, maybe you should make a few friends along the way? work hard for your grades? join one of the school's club? going on a hunt for a long lasting boyfriend? who knows what you'll find.

as soon as you took the first step into the high schools building, the next thing you knew, your eyes landed on the girls gentle ocean blue eyes, time seemed to slow down a bit as the two of you shared a few seconds of glance before avoiding it the next, you were in too flustered of a state because of it that the thought to even be in the same classroom with her messed you up a bit

fortunately, you didn't had the same classroom with the breathtaking stranger, which you were relieved about but yet, there were the slightest glint's of disappointment in your heart

that's when it hits you

"I'm into girls...?" you mumbled to yourself, too deep into your own thoughts to the point of not being aware of your very surroundings

"uhh... hey there" realizing the new voice that had entered your hearings, your head quickly snapped at the person that had stood in front of your table

'it's the girl!?' you mentally panicked by the sight of her "oh! sup- i mean, hi!" trying to cover up the awkward first impression you had gave her with a forced up chuckle

oh how you wanted to bury yourself right then and there

"can we be friends?" she nervously scratch the back of her head, you were too dumbfounded at her words, mouth slightly agape with your eyes glued onto her angelic features

"is that a no--" you quickly cut into her words "--no! i mean- yeah! sure, we can be friends!" you cursed at your heart that were beating a lot way more faster than it was supposed to

"cool! my name's senju kawaragi" she said

"i-i'm l/n y/n!" stop stuttering damn it.

"the pastry looked so good~" peeking into the box of pastry you had gotten, senju let out a giggle by the sight of your face

"you look like you're ready to DEVOUR it" laughing at her own jokes, you continued to ignored her words by the pastry beauty that were glaring onto you

"should we sit somewhere and eat it" "yes please, I'm gonna drool just by the sight of it" "then stop looking at it"

as the two girls find a place to sat down and enjoy the warm pastry the two had gotten fresh from the bakery store, the two sat besides each other, they both took a bite into the pastry, you moaned at the taste that had just entered your mouth, too into the pastry to even noticed senju that had been secretly admiring your side profile

"y/n, the pastry..." she said pointing at the side of her own lip's, gesturing that a crumb had sticked onto the side of your lip

"huh? where is it?" your thumb reached out to the side of your lips, trying to get rid of the crumbs that has stucked itself onto you

"here" senju pulled out one of her pink handkerchief, as she gently wiped the crumbs away

you didn't wanted to admit how her gesture made you mentally panicked, how you can easily smell the parfume she wore to the way her eyes looked at you, your heart clearly wanted to jump out from it's rib cage, this feeling were too much for you

"there!" she said before backing away "t-thanks!" your hands were way more sweatier than you anticipate it to be, face colored beat red

"don't need to be so flustered about it" she chuckled at your flustered state

"huh... what do you mean?" trying to cover yourself up (which failed miserably), rubbing the back of your nape as a sign of nervousness, she leaned her chin onto her opened palm

she gave you a side glance before the tip of her ears slowly redden "can i say something to you?" her tone of voice were a lot more quieter this time, but it wasn't quite enough for it to not reached your ear

"y-yeah, what is it?" hands still nervously rubbing the back of your nape

"...i like- no, i love you" she admitted her feelings to you, which caught you off guard causing you to choke onto the thin air

"y/n are you okay!?" she panicked at your sudden coughing "i-i'm ok, your words just caught me off guard..." flashing her a smile which made her ears even more red

"what's your answer?" her mouth slightly pouted out, which you find adorable by the sight of it

"mhmm! i love you too" you gave her your answer which made the girl giddy on the inside because of it

'guess there was nothing to worry about' you thought out to yourself

"i-i love you more!!" she said out loud, her face closing the distance with yours

"i can see that by the way your ears is as red at a tomato" you teased her, she backed away and closed the both of her ears with her hands

"no you didn't" "yes i did~" the teasing tone finally came out from your mouth

"i know that tone of voice very well, stop the teasing me!" you only let out a laugh at her state which made the girl pout even more

"sorry bunny~" her head snapped towards you "WHAT'S WITH THE NICK NAME!!" another laughter burst out from your mouth, you were totally enjoying the way senju were intensely blushing at your actions

"i thought we're dating now?" "i know."

"can i not call you that?"

"...yeah sure, whatever"

and now here you are, at 11:20pm, laying down on your bed eyes not leaving the roof with your head going back to the same scenerio that had happened 2 day's ago

god were you hopelessly in love with her.
