I walked out of the shower, droplets of water dripped down my body, my heavy hair was soaking wet spilling water down my back.

I admired the dark aesthetics of the bathroom, how the golden lights added to the atmosphere.

"Hurry up in there!" Jane commander as she decided to bang her fist against the dark oak door.

I rolled my eyes and continued drying myself with a towel, wrapping it around my body. I opened the dark door to be met with Jane And Heidi. 75% sure Heidi hates me, or she just hates everyone, not quite sure yet.

Heidi looked me up and down and hummed "You took long enough." She reported, I could practically smell the snarky bitch aura coming off from her. I ignored her and went back to doing whatever the hell I'm doing.

I pulled out the draws desperately trying to find something relatively cute to wear, nothing too revealing but still eye-catching.

Jane inspected me seeing what I was doing, she held up a tight, black dress with a low-cut front, it was perfect, exactly what I was looking for. I have to give Jane her credit, she has fantastic style.

"This would look good, what do you think?" Jane asked me, seeking my approval, a smile appeared on my face "It's perfect, thank you."
She replicated the smile, happy that she had won me over.

I felt bold today, and confident, it sounds stupid but I never see myself as attractive or pretty only normal and average nothing special about me, but today I felt special and I looked it too. I finished off my makeup with a red lip and Smokey eye, I looked, wow.

"Wow, you look, wow." Caius said, he was leaning on the doorframe in his usual dark button-up shirt. A blush rose to my cheeks from his statement, he could be very charming at Times.

He walked over to me taking time to look at my dress. "Do you like it?" I asked, I knew he would say yes, even if he hated something I wore he would never say no, he's far too polite.

"You look beautiful, Amore Mio." He whispered in my ear, tucking a loose piece of hair behind my ear, I could feel his cold breath on my neck, when he looked at me everything goes silent like the whole world has stopped, he leaned in.

A cough of disturbance was made behind us, it was Heidi. "I don't mean to disturb you but Jane said we have to go." She said turning on her heels and walking off. Caius rolled his eyes whilst his hand brushed my face "Il see you later My love, have fun and please stay safe." He demanded kissing my cheek.

I have no idea who set this up, probably Felix or Demetri, it was them, the twins, Heidi and me. Sadly the kings couldn't attend because of important vamp business or something, I didn't mind I was dancing with Jane havening the time of my life. I wish this summer didn't have to end.

I looked around the room while a bunch of sweaty, teenage Italians danced.

A man with dark eyes and brown hair was staring at me, not taking his eyes off me, it was creepy I just assumed he was drunk or high, or both.

I grabbed Janes arm turning to talk to her. "Hey, I'm going to go to the bathroom, il be back in a sec." she nodded turning to dance with a tall blonde woman, they seemed to be having fun.

I made my way over to the woman's toilet, I grabbed my bag and took out my red lipstick.

The same man from earlier walked in and stood at the door of the bathroom. My eyes widened as he pulled out a knife.

"They're coming for you, this is only the start." He said, he looked entranced like he was in some kind of weird mind control situation.

He lifted the knife to his throat and killed himself, all whilst not taking his eyes off me. His body dropped to the floor as blood seeped from his neck.

This is only the beginning.
