   "What are you reading?" Hyunjin asked taking a sip of his coffee.

    The two males had been talking since Hyunjin sat down.

    "It's called 'Lovers in the night'. Really, I suppose you can say frustrating so far." Felix laughed a little.

   "How so?"
 
    Felix hummed.

   "The main character is dating the so-called hero but, at the same time he is falling for the so-called Villain and the Villain is falling for him as well or- well he has already fallen in love with the main character. The hero he is just oblivious to it all because instead of actually taking sometime to focus on his lover, he is out saving the world." Felix explained.

   Hyunjin nodded.

    "I tend to prefer Villains over heros." Hyunjin told him.

   "So, do I. I guess maybe it is because I look at it and they just- they would put their lover over everything. The hero they... might not mean to but, they put what they do above all else and sometimes that can take a mental toll on the heros lover." Felix told the blond.

    Hyunjin could hear a sudden sadness in Felixs' tone.

    "What are you doing out this late? Isn't your boyfriend wondering where you are?" Hyunjin questioned.

    Felix took a drink of his third cup of hot chocolate and set his book down on the table.

   "He is probably asleep or looking over some case he has." Felix mused.

   "Didn't he just get home from a case, wouldn't he want to spend time with you?"

    Felix traced the rim of his mug.

   "He did, but he's always looking to help the next person." Felix muttered.

    "You don't seem to pleased with that." Hyunjin noted.

   "It's not that I'm not pleased... it's just that sometimes I wish he would separate his work life from his home life because then, maybe we could do thing that he says we can't do because of his work..." Felix sighed.

     "Sorry, for babbling on about that." Felix scratched the back of his head.

   "It's fine. Sometimes it is good to just talk." Hyunjin game the younger blond a smile.

    Felix returned that smile.

   "Lix!" Sana called out.

    Felix looked away from Hyunjin and Looked to Sana.

   "Yeah?"

  "Chan just called me asking if you were here he said that he tried to call you but, you didn't pick up. He seemed pretty worried so I told him you were here." Sana told the younger.

     Felix sighed.

   "I must've left my phone in my car..." Felix muttered to himself.

   "Okay, thanks for letting me know. Did he say any-" Felix was cut off by the sound of his name.

   "Felix!" It was Chan.

    Hyunjin watched the blond across from Him stand nearly tripping. Luckily the male managed to stabilize himself.

   "Chan hey." Felix gave a small smile not like the one from earlier.

     "I tried calling you when I realized you weren't home. I was worried." Chan stated walking up to the younger.

   "I left my phone in the car and I wrote you a note so you wouldn't worry."

     Chan pursed his lips.

  "On the note you said you'd be back by two. It is four." Chan told him.

    Felixs' eyes widened taking a quick glance to Hyunjin. They had been talking for three hours?

    Felix looked back to Chan.

  "I must've lost track of time, sorry." Felix spoke apologetically.

    "What were you even doing that made you lose track of time.?"

   "New book. Kind of just got lost in finding out more about it." Felix smiled a little.

     "Okay. Well, we should go home, you need sleep especially if you are meeting up with Jisung today." Chan said.

    Felix nodded.

   "Wait for me outside? I have to talk to Sana about something private." Felix asked.
 
    Chan nodded pecking his boyfriends' lips. Only then, did he notice the other person in the diner.

    Chans' brows knitted together.

    "I'll be outside." Chan told him leaving.

    Felix let out a breath he was unknowingly holding in.

    "Well, it seems this conversation has come to a close. It was nice talking to you. I hope we can be better friends." Felix smiled picking up his book and mug.

     "Yeah, I do too." Hyunjin smiled.

   Felix nodded turning to head to the counter. Hyunjin watched with a small smile.

  'He is definitely interesting.' Hyunjin thought.

    Felix waved as he left the diner. Hyunjin gave him a small wave back.

    The short blond left and Sana came up to Hyunjin.

   "Here, he wanted me to give you this." Sana handed the male a piece of paper.

   Hyunjin looked at it with a soft smile.

   It was Felixs' number.

    "Okay, Y'all were cute and all but like leave. I wanted to close up like two hours ago." Sana spoke as she stretched.

    "Why didn't you?"

  "Like I said Y'all were cute. Plus, I don't think I've seen Lix so open besides when he's with Minho and Jisung. Yeah, he can be pretty open with his boyfriend but, that is to a certain extent. Anyway, get out I want to go home to my girlfriend." Sana stated.

   Hyunjin laughed but, nodded and left.

     "So much for getting my mind off of him." Hyunjin laughed to himself.

    There was something about Felix that drew Hyunjin in. He wasn't sure what it was.

     But, there was definitely something there that Hyunjin wanted to know more about.

  Something that The blond was hiding.
