Wesley's POV
Everyone stands up and awaits her. Presented by the song 'Beautiful' by Jay Weigel, she appears.
My jaw drops and my heart melts. There she stands. In a pure white long dress, pooling the floor around her with her face covered in a veil. Looking more mesmerizing than ever before. All eyes are on her. She looks like an angel.
My eyes well up with tears of profound happiness as the love of my life slowly walks down the aisle. Allowing everyone enough time to absorb her sublime presence. She lifts her face and her brown sandy eyes behind the thin fabric meet mine. Everything else suddenly disappears and the only thing I can see is her. My angel. My world. My anchor. My love.
Tears escape my eyes. And not just any tears. Tears of joy. Tears of pure love. Tears of relief of pain. All that I found in her. She gave them to me. She gave me pure love and taught me what it means. And now, she is only a step away from forever. A forever with me. I let them stain my cheeks with pride.
She smiles. I know she can hear what's in my heart right now. And that's why she is smiling. And I must say at this minute, I am the luckiest and happiest man. I feel like a king. I get to wake up to that gorgeous smile everyday from this day hence.
She reaches me and I open my hands. She rests her tender hands on my palms and like I've always done since I fell in love with her, I hold on to them. And I'm never letting go.
She lays her eyes on mine. That captivating constellation in those eyes keeps me falling for her all over again. All the time. The feeling doesnt get old at all.
I am marrying the girl of my dreams. I am officially claiming her to be mine.
Cheryl Stones.
Fits perfectly.
She rests her soft fingers on my cheek.
'Wesley' she calls out.
'Yes?'
'Wesley...'
'Cheryl'
'Wesley...
Wesley! Hey wake up. We here now'I open my eyes and see my mom's face. Not Cheryl's behind a veil at an alter.
No.
Fucking Amber's face! It was a fucking dream!
'Fuck me' I groan and rub my sleepy face.
'I can't believe I fell asleep. How long was I asleep?'
'Practically, the whole ride back from Chad's school'
'Woah' I shut my eyes and rest my head on the head rest.
'Yeah. I think the drugs they gave you are having an effect'
'Probably' my voices is rusty.
I open my eyes and look out the window. I take a deep breath. Ever since I moved this side, there has been no hate greater than the hate I had for being here. Never have I imagined that someday I would be coming to actually live here.
