Chapter 24

Wesley's POV

'Oh shit!' I read the text and I cannot belive what it says. It reads:

To Stones Wheels

It has been an honor doing business with you. We have accepted your offer. Your model  is ravishing and truly impeccable. You will receive a notification on our payments and we do hope it brightens your day.

Another notification sounds and I view it. 750 000$ has been deposited in the business's bank account. I am ecstatic!

'What is it?' Keith asks. Adrenaline runs through my veins. KaChing baby!

'Fuck yeah! This is what I am talking about!' I roar in excitement. The boys look at me in confusion and I look at them silently, with a smile, leaving them in suspension.

'Are you gonna tell us what's going on or what?' Keith complains. He has always been the impatient one.

'Well Frank. You are going to like this one. This email I have just received right here is from Engine Paradise. As we speak, we are loaded with a whole 750 000$!' his face beams.

'What! That's what I am talking about man! This is the break I needed honestly plus I was low on cash' he says with exhilaration. We fist pump each other.

'These are great news people. It calls for a humangous celebration! How about you host a party Wes?' Max asks and they all await my response. I run my fingers through my fringe and take a bite on my sandwich.

'I'll rise the suggestion at home and I'll make it happen' I respond and they cheer.

'This is gonna be thee party of the year!' Keith says.

'Are you going to invite Rose?' I ask him and his expression changes. He clears his throat.

'Uhh yeah. I guess' he responds and I pick up something in his tone. Something is up between them. He sounds uncertain himself. I raise an eyebrow at him and he faces the other way. Now I am definitely sure something is up.

'Well guys, I gotta bounce. We have already bunked the first period and I am not up for another detention. I don't wanna miss this party for the world' Andre says and we all laugh at him.

'Yeah and remember, I am in charge of inviting the girls. We gotta make sure we are served my guy' Max says and follows Andre. I salute him while smiling with my cheeks stuffed. I close the now empty lunchbox.

'Yeah I have to bounce too guys. I have a dazzling lady to share my good news with' I wink at Frank, fist pump Keith and walk away majestically. I feel sadistic knowing that he is probably watching me walk away with annoyance, knowing very well to whom my direction is heading.
