Cheryl's POV

We decide to walk on our way back. I sip on the drink he bought.

'So, Keith and Kyle are your friends from... basically childhood' he nods, tossing my empty yellow bottle up and down.

'I see'

'So what are your plans for today?' he asks.

'Nothing much. I am not familiar with this place so there is nothing I can do' I reply.

We stop in front of my house and he looks at me.

'Well Skyla is here. Judging from yesterday she really liked you and she would enjoy showing you around' he says and for some reason I am sad that he didn't offer to show me around.

'I guess. She is really nice' I say and he faintly smiles.

'Okay I am going to go now. Awesome run, I hope we can do it again soon' he says and looks into my eyes deeply. My breath heavies slightly as I look into his blue eyes.

'Yeah. Me too' I manage to reply, softly.

He runs his hand through his messy fringe and pulls a half smile, then walks away. I smile and as I walk in the yard I notice my sister standing at the porch with a smirk.

'How long have you been standing there?'

'Long enough to have seen all that I needed to see' she says and I walk into the house.

'So, are you gonna tell me or what?' she asks closing the door.

'Tell you what? There is nothing to tell, we just went for a run together' I smile and walk into the bathroom.

'Alright' she says with her hands in the air as if she is being arrested.
' I must tell you to be careful though'

'What are you talking about?' I ask as I run water in the bathtub.

'You do not know this boy. You only met him yesterday. All I am saying is don't get too attached. We don't know what his intentions are'

'Don't worry sis. I am much more clever than you think I am. Now, would you let me take my bath please' I say. She chuckles and leaves. I close the door and stare at my reflection in the mirror.

Vanessa is right. I cannot get too attached to Wes. I do not know him and he doesn't know me. I wonder what Kyle meant earlier on today when he said I should be careful. And when Wesley kind of proved my thoughts of him not being interested in me wrong. Ever since I came here, everything seems to lead me to this boy. The people I meet, the route I take, my thoughts... they just all seem to have some connection back to him and this can't be good.

Cheryl, enough of this now. This is getting worse. You only met this boy yesterday for him to worry you like this. Get your head in the game.

...

I spend my whole day just laying around watching TV and eating some snacks with Nessa. The day seems to pass by really quickly today. I check the time and it's already seven thirty pm.
