Chapter 11 Choice

Anne's POV

I quickly got the Newt back into the building and back into his room with locks on his window and they were on the outside so no one could get to them I shut his door and turned around to Gregory came running to me "Gregory what's wrong, why are you running" I asked him he stopped running once he came up to me "Anne I have a bad feeling about some Newts who took Marcy to King Andrias" he said "Maybe to reward her" I said "No I feel like King Andrias might have something planned you need to get to the throne room asap" he said "Ok, ok I'll go" I said "Thanks but hurry I have a bad feeling" he said "Don't worry I'll be quick" I said then I ran to the throne room but I was stopped by a Newt "Anne, King Andrias wants you to see him you're off duty for this meeting" he said "Thanks" I said then ran passed him I ran into the throne room and saw Marcy I quickly ran up and hugged her she did hug back "I'm glad you're ok" I said "Me to" she said then I let go "Andrias what are you doing with Marcy" I asked "Anne I noticed you're not taking this job seriously I'm giving you a choice" he said "What do you mean I''m not taking this job seroiusly, I've done all you asked, I got up, I looked in everyon's room, I found the sharp odjects, I pervented Newts from sneaking out, I've check the whole building, I've stopped Newts from escaping, and I've gave you the infomation what makes you think I've not beening paying attention" I asked mad "Your friends Anne somehow you talk to your friends everyday I thought I told you, you need to pay attention you can't just go off talking with your friends" he said "I wasn't I payed attention what more could you want" I asked "Ok are you done I've giving you a choice" he said "Go on" I said "You pay attention and I'll let continute with your work or don't pay attention and Marcy and your friends take the blame" he said I thought about it for a minute I couldn't risk Gregory, Sasha, or Marcy to take the blame I looked at Marcy I walked up and hugged her "I'm sorry Marcy but I have to pay more attention to my job I probably will never see you for a long time but this is for your own good I don't want to see you get hurt I'm sorry" I said then I stopped hugging her "No Anne there has to be another way" she said we both had tears in our eyes "I'm sorry I have to" I said "No Anne" she said "I'm sorry Marcy" I said "Anne" she said I turned around "I'll take the first choice I'll pay attention more" I said "Ok good Anne" King Andrias said "I only have one request" I said "Yeah what's that" he asked "Let Marcy go a don't tonch her ever again" I said "Ok I did make a promise to you I wouldn't hurt your friends...escort Marcy out of the throne room and leave her alone" he said "Yes your highness" one of the Newts said I hoplessly watched as the Newts escorted Marcy out of the throne room I didn't have a choice "Your dissmissed" King Andrias said I walked back to my room and layed down I couldn't think straight I didn't want to push Marcy away I couldn't but I had to.

Gregory's POV

I was just waiting for Marcy and Anne to come out but only Marcy came out "Hey how was it" I asked she looked up at me with tears in her eyes "What happened are you hurt, did Andrias do something to you" I asked "No it's not that it's Anne s-she...she d-doesn't want us to interact with her again or w-we pay the price" she said "It's ok at least you're not hurt Anne cares about you alot but I think Anne didn't have a choice so look on the bright side" I said "Thanks Gregory but I don't feel like it I think I'll go lay down" she said walking away I didn't wanna get in her way so I let her go I waited until the speaker went off since I had nothing else to do I waited but nothing I went back to my room and went to sleep.
