Second Chances

I'm looking all over for Ruben and I finally spot him on the rocks. I climb up and sit down.

"Bet I could cheer you up?" I said. He looked at me with a smile. "So I did some thinking and got some encouragement and I think we should talk about us." I said. Ruben got a big smile on his face. "Maddy I love you and we both made a mistake and I'm very sorry. I've regretted it ever since it happened. I was so rude about it and I didn't even take the time to ask and get your side of the story." he said.

"I get it. I do. Being a Jet and dating a Shark is a lot of stress for no reason really. And when ones causing drama with the other we get caught up in it. It's not fair to us. But I'm willing to give you a second chance. You deserve it." I said

"I will be telling the team about us if it's okay with you" he said. "Yes! Oh my gosh yes!" i said giving him a big hug. He grabbed my face and kissed me.

Life felt better. I got my boyfriend back and i just hope our team can really come together but how?
