Radiant Revenge (Descendants Ben x Reader)

~Y/N's P.O.V~

As I felt the fire in my hands, I also saw my body turn into a true fiery orange. I aim two fireballs at Uma, and she dodges them in time. She tries to throw one of her tentacles at me, and I duck in time.

"Come on, Y/N!"

We go back and forth for a bit, and Uma raises a colossal wave that soaks everyone on the boat and rocks it back and forth. I see Ben dive into the water, and I glare at Uma. "Y/N! Hold on! Stop! Back down!"

Uma laughs, "What are you gonna do, Ben? Splash me?" He says, "That's enough! It's got to stop. This isn't the answer. The fighting has got to stop. Nobody wins this way. We have to listen and respect each other."

I hold up one of my fireballs and look at Uma. I still don't get good vibes from this.

"It won't be easy. But let's be brave enough to try. Uma, I know you want what is best for the Isle. Help me make a difference." I snarl at Uma, and she hesitantly gives Ben his ring back. She then flashes a small smile before disappearing into the ocean blue.

Ben knows how to lead a true kingdom. It shines in him.

Jay and Carlos lower the ladder for Ben so he can swim to the boat and climb up it. Once Ben is on the deck, everyone applauds him. He puts his crown back on, which relieves my tenseness. I feel blue smoke go around me, letting me know I am returning to my normal size and state.

Once the smoke goes away, I see my gown turn into the exact one from Ben's glass-stained mural. Blue and black with bits of silver have been incorporated into my dress, gloves, and crown. (Use your imagination!)

I smiled and quickly patted out the small things of smoke, and then I saw Ben smile at me. I smiled back at him and did an awkward curtsy. Two guards escorted me down the stairs while I held my dress up in the front. 

Evie and Mal run over to me at the end of the stairs as everyone applauds and cheers for me. I hug both Mal and Evie. I added, "So, I did not know that I could do that. Guess Dad wanted to surprise me with that one."

"Tell me about it. That makes three of us." Evie says. "But hey, who doesn't need a life lesson in the middle of this?" Mal adds. "Shall we?" "We shall."

Evie and Mal escort me to Ben, and I gleam at him with happiness. "Hi." He pulls me in for a deep kiss as I kiss back. "All right, all right, all right, all right, all right," Carlos says. We pull away, and Ben says, "I owe you guys so much." "Yeah." We all agree, and he continues.

"If there is anything that you need, or anything that I can do for you..." "Um... Actually... There is, Ben. I know a girl who'd... Who'd really love to come to Auradon. It's Drizella's daughter, Dizzy. She's like a little sister to me."

Ben answers, "Then she should come." Evie smiles proudly. "Okay. Okay, great. Actually, um... Ben, there's a lot of kids who would really love it here in Auradon. Kids just like us who also deserve a second chance. Can I maybe get you a list?"

"Yes, yes, absolutely. Please." Everyone cheers, and I smile at Evie, knowing her dream will become a reality. One of the guards approached me and said, "Lady Y/N, we found your book below deck. Uma had it."

I look at it, admire it, and flip back to the last page written by Dad.

"I think I'm ready to part with this. It seems like the kind of thing that belongs in the hands of Fairy Godmother. Fairy Godmother!" "Okay. That's me. Thank you. Mhmm-hmm." she adds. "This belongs in the museum." I say.

"It does, yes. And I'm gonna take it." We all laugh as I give her the book, and she returns by Belle and Beast. I add, "I'm not gonna be needing it anymore." I splash some water at Ben with my feet, and he grins and gets his payback with water splashed at me.

~3rd Person P.O.V~

Cut to Uma in the main body of water before the Isle of the Lost.

"What? You didn't think this was the end of the story? Did you?" She laughs before returning to the water.

This book was closed, but another was brewing to start—a start of a new beginning for the VKs and Y/N.

A/N: D2 is now done!!! I am still working out the small bits and pieces of the story for D3, but within the next two weeks, I should have the first chapter of the D3 book out and will update on here too!
