Hydras "plan B"

3rd person POV

"Who the hell is Bucky?" Was all the soldier said. He truly had doubts at the moment but did not want to show that he slightly remembered the man. Right before he could shoot Steve, a guy with wings came flying in and kicked him making him fall. Natasha who had found the big gun aimed it in the soldier's direction and fired. Then he was gone. Like a ghost.

Sirens could be heard closing up and big black cars entered the scene. Before anyone could say anything at least thirty guards were surrounding them. Rumlow came into the view pointing a gun at Steve and began yelling. "Drop the shield, Cap! Get on your knees! Get down! Get down! Down on your knees! Down!" Steve did go down on his knees and a soldier shouted at him.

"Don't move!" The agent was holding a massive gun to Steve's head when a news helicopter began flying over them. "Put the gun down. Not here. Not here!" Rumlow shouted at the agent that was pointing the gun at Steve's head. Steve, Natasha and Sam all got escorted into a truck. What the three off them did not expect was that right before the doors closed Rumlow threw a little girl into the van as well.

Valerie had been walking down the streets
looking for her dad when she unintentionally walked in on Steve Rogers almost execution. She tried sneaking closer to get a better view. Maybe her dad was there. She watched the three off them being dragged into a van when a firm grip got a hold of her shoulder.

She cursed herself for being so stupid. The guard handed her to Rumlow and he sighed. "You just couldn't stay away from this?" He asked her. She shook her head slightly, not knowing completely what he meant. Before she new it he had thrown her into the same truck as the three others. That didn't exactly go as planned. Not that she had a plan anyways.

Her body hit the ground off the truck with a loud thud. She groaned before taking a seat glaring at the guard. "Why's there a five year old here?!" Was all Sam had to say on the matter. Steve on the other hand couldn't focus. "It was him", he finally spoke. "He looked right at me like he didn't know me." Steve said quietly.

"How is that even possible it was like, 70 years ago." Sam replied. "Zola", Steve answered. "Bucky's whole unit was captured in 43. Zola experimented on him. Whatever he did helped Bucky survive the fall. They must off found him." Steve reasoned looking down.

"None of that is your fault Steve", a dangerously pale Natasha replied. "Even when I had nothing I had Bucky." Steve said sadly. "We need to get a doctor here. If we don't put pressure on that wound she's gonna bleed out here in the truck." Sam spoke up. The guard that Valerie didn't know took out a large taser. The guard pointed it towards Sam before the taser was being shoved in the other guards chest. He fell limp on the ground.

"Ah, this thing was squeezing my brain. And who is this guy and the little girl?" None other than Maria Hill wondered. When Rumlow went to open up the truck, he was greeted by a huge hole in the floor and an unconscious guard on the floor. He did not look happy to put it that way.

While Rumlow wondered where they could be, the others had already made it to the facility they we're staying at. Maria got them inside before yelling. "She's lost a pint of blood!" "Maybe two!" Sam corrected.

"Let me take her", a doctor said running towards them. "She would want to see him first", Maria answered. They all followed Maria into a room. In a hospital bed, none other than Nick Fury laid. To say the four of them were shocked was an understatement. "About damn time", Fury said. He began to list of a bunch off things that he had hurt or broken as well as a headache and a collapsed lung.

"They cut you open, your heart stopped", Natasha said. "Tetrodoxin B, slows the pulse to one beat a minute. Banner developed it for stress. Didn't work so great for him but we found a use for it." Fury explained.

To be honest that sounded exactly as the thing they injected me with when I were born, Valerie thought for herself where she stood. Pierce had teased her about it and said they had to fake her death or something just so her mom would suffer. He's a real jerk, she as well thought.

"Why all the secrets? Why not just tell us?" Steve asked. "Any attempts on the directors life had to look successful", Maria said. "Can't kill you if you're already dead", Fury added. "Besides, I wasn't sure who to trust. But what's the kid doing here?" Fury wondered. "She got thrown into the van by Rumlow while he muttered why she couldn't just stay away for once." Sam explained. "Hmm, Interesting." Fury said curiously.

At the same time in a hydra facility, a doctor was fixing the soldiers arm. He was getting flashbacks from the train incident and his first time in hydra. Out off nowhere he had knocked down about four guards. Alexander Pierce was entering the building and the first thing anyone said to him was, "Sir, he's unstable." "Erratic", he answers. "Mission report", he commanded. The soldier didn't respond. "Mission report now", he said a bit more harshly. Still no response.

Pierce walked towards him and got in a real punch on him. "The man on the bridge, who was he?" Bucky wondered. "You met him earlier this week on another assignment", Pierce answered. "I knew him", he replied. "Your work has been a gift to mankind", Pierce started. "You shaped the century. And I need you to do it one more time. Society's on a tipping point between order and chaos. And tomorrow morning we are gonna give it a push. But if you don't do your part, I can't do mine. And hydra can't give the world the freedom it deserves." Pierce told him.

"But I knew him", the soldier answered. "Prep him." Pierce said determined. "But he's been out of cyro freeze for too long." A doctor interrupted. "Then wipe him and start over, just let him behold his precious daughter." Pierce said. So that's what they did, they wiped him. Then the screaming began.

Back with the others Nick Fury was making a plan. "This man declined the Nobel Peace price", he started. Valerie who stood next to him snorted. "If he can get the Nobel Peace prize, anyone can." She mumbled. "He said peace wasn't an achievement, it was a responsibility. See, it's stuff like this that gives me trust issues." Fury reasoned. "We have to stop the launch", Natasha chimed in. "I don't think the councils accepting my calls anymore", Fury replied.

Then he opened a box. Inside there were three chips. "What's that?" Sam wondered. "Once the hellicarrier reaches 3000 feet, they'll triangulate with insight satellites, becoming fully weaponized", Maria explained. "We need to breach those carriers and replace their targeting blades with our own", Fury said. "One or two won't cut it, we need to link all three carriers for this to work, because if even one off those ships remains operational, a whole lot off people are gonna die", Maria replied.

"We have to assume everyone aboard those carriers are hydra, we have to get past them and insert this server blades and just maybe just maybe we can salvage what's left", Fury explained. "We're not salvaging anything!" Steve said with an angry tone. "We're not just taking down the carriers Nick, we're taking down S.H.I.E.L.D." Steve said stubbornly. "S.H.I.E.L.D has nothing to do with this", Fury defended.

"You gave me this mission, this is how it ends", Steve replied. "S.H.I.E.L.D's been compromised you said so yourself. Hydra grew right under your nose and nobody noticed", Steve said matter of factly. "Why do you think we're meeting in this cave? I noticed." Fury replied. "How many paid the price before you did?" Steve asked. "Look, I didn't know about Barnes", Fury said.

"Even if you did, would you have told me, or would you have compartmentalized that too?" Steve asked. "S.H.I.E.L.D, HYDRA it all goes", Steve said. "He's right", Maria agreed. He looked at Natasha who only shrugged. Then Sam. "Don't look at me, I do what he does just slower." "Well.." Fury started. "It looks like you're giving the orders now Captain." He decided.
