Outside Tony and Steve were chopping wood while chatting. Thor didn't say where he was going for answers? Tony wondered. Sometimes my teammates don't tell me things, Steve replied while looking at Clint who were playing with his son.

I was kind of hoping Thor would be the exception, Steve said. Yeah give him time, Tony replied. We don't know what the Maximoff kid showed him, he added. Steve chopped a tree and spoke. "Earths mightiest heroes", pulled us sort like cotton candy.

Seems like you walked away all right, Tony said. Steve looked at him. Is that a problem? I dint trust a guy whiteout a dark side, call me old fashioned. Tony spoke. Well let's just say you haven't seen it yet, Steve said.

You know Ultron is trying to test us apart, right? Tony asked Steve. Well I guess you'd know, he answered. Whether you'd tell us is a bit of a question. Steve spoke. Banner and I were doing research. Tony defended.

That would affect the team. Steve spoke firmly. That would end the team! Tony said raising his voice. Isn't that the mission? Isn't that the "why we fight"? So we can end the fight. So we get to go home! Tony said clearly annoyed.

Steve picked up a tree log and ripped it in half with his hands. Every time someone tries to win a way before it starts, innocent people die, Steve spoke. Every time, he added.

Suddenly Laura came walking up to them. I'm sorry... Mr.Stark, Clint said you wouldn't mind, but our tractor doesn't seem to want to start at all. She spoke. I thought maybe you might... she started before Tony interrupted her. Yeah I'll give her a kick.

Dint take from my pile, he spoke to Steve before going to check on the Tractor. He went to the tractor and looked at it to see what the problem was. Do me a favor, someone suddenly spoke. Try not to bring it to life, Fury added.

Why, Ms. Barton, you little minx. Tony muttered. I get it. Maria Hill called you, right? Was she ever not working for you? Tony asked. Artificial intelligence. You never even hesitated. Fury stated.

Look, it's been a really long day, like Eugene O'Neill ling. So how's about we skip to the part where you're useful. Tony said. Look me in the eye and tell me you're going to shut him down. Fury replied. You're not the director of me, Tony spoke.

I'm not the director of anybody. Fury said matter of factly. I'm just an old man, who cares very much about you. He stated. And I'm the man who killed the avengers. I saw it. I didn't tell the team. How could I? I saw them all dead, Nick. I felt it. The whole world too. Because of me. I wasn't ready. Thought I'd do all I could. Tony said implying to when he was the ones mind being wrapped.

Maximoff girl, she's working you, Stark. Playing in your gear. Fury said. I wants tricked, I was shown. What's a nightmare. It was my legacy. The end of the oath I started us on. Tony implied.

You come up with some pretty impressive inventions, Tony. War isn't one of them. Fury said. I watched my friends die. You'd think that'd be as bad as it gets, right? Tony said scoffing. Nope. It wasn't the worst part. The worst part- he said being interrupted by Fury. The worst part, is that you didn't. Tony looked at Fury wondering how he found that out.

Ultron took you folks out of play to buy himself time. Fury spoke now inside with the rest of the team. My contacts all say he's building something. The amount of vibranuim he made off with, I dint think it's just one thing. Fury told them.

What about ultron himself? Tony wondered. Oh, he's easy to track. He's everywhere. The guy multiplying faster than a Catholic rabbit. It still does help us get an angle on any of his plans though. Fury answered.

Tony were playing darts while he asked, is he still going after launch codes? Yes, he is. Fury answered. But he's not making any headway, he added. I cracked the pentagons firewall in high school on a date, Tony explained. Well I contacted out friends at the Nexus about that. Fury told Tony.

Nexus? Steve asked. It's the world internet hun in Oslo, every byte of data flows through there. Fastest access on earth. Bruce explained. So what did they say? Clint asked. He's fixated on the missiles, Fury replied. But the codes are constantly being changed. He added.

By whom? Tony wondered while a dart flew past him and hit the middle of the target. Parties unknown, Fury spoke. Do we have an ally? Natasha asked from her seat where she were holding a pretty tired Valerie.

Ultrons got an enemy. That's not the same thing. Fury explained. Still. I'd pay folding money to know who it is. I might need to visit Oslo. Find our unknown. Tony spoke. Well, this is good times, boss, but I was kind of hoping when I saw you you'd have more than that. Natasha said speaking up.

I do, he replied. I have you. He said gesturing to the team. Back in the day I had eyes everywhere. Ears, everywhere else. You kids had all the tech you could dream up. Here we all are, back on earth, with nothing but our wit and our will to save the world. Ultron says the avengers are the only thing between him and his mission and whether or not he admits it. His mission is global destruction. All this, laid in a grave. So stand. Outwit the platinum bastard.

Steve doesn't like that kind of talk, Natasha said smirking. This made Valerie let out a giggle. You know what, Romanoff? Steve spoke. So what does he want? Fury asked. To become better. Steve replied. Better than us. He added. He keeps building bodies- person bodies. Tony spoke interrupting Steve.

The human form is inefficient. Biologically speaking, we're outmoded. But he keeps coming back to it. Tony added. Bruce were now studying the painting of an butterfly Valerie and Lila had painted together.

When you two programmed him to protect the human race. You amazingly failed. Natasha said. They don't need to be protected, they need to evolve. Ultrons going to evolve, Bruce said as realization hit him.

How? Fury asked. Has anyone been in contact with Helen Cho? He asked. No one answered him meaning no one had.

What none of them knew were that Ultron had long ago found Helen Cho and mind wrapped her using the scepter. He were now very close making his "dream body". A bit too close.

Back with the avengers they were planning on leaving the farm house. I'll take Natasha and Clint, Steve spoke. All right. Strictly recon. I'll hit the nexus. I'll join you as soon as I can. Tony told Steve.

If Ultron is really building a body... Steve spoke trailing off. Tony picked up and spoke. He'll be more powerful than any of us. Maybe all of us. And android designed by a robot. You know I really miss the days when the weirdest thing science ever created was me, Steve spoke.

I'll drop banner off at the tower, Fury said interrupting them. Mind if I borrow Ms. Hill? He asked. She's all your, Apparently. Tony spoke. What are you gonna do? I don't know something dramatic. I hope. Fury replied.

Clint were talking to Laura about everything he were going to do when he came back. He gave her a kiss and went to the jet.

Valerie had begged her mom to go with her, but this time Natasha didn't budge. Valerie then went with Fury being promised that she could sit in the front of his plane.
