Chapter 5

31st July 1991 -Camp Half-Blood-

I wake up from my sleeping bag in the cabin of Hermes. It has been already 5 years since I arrived here.

Since then, I have written and received various letters from aunt Petunia and Dudley, dad gave me some kind of magical glasses that help with my dyslexia and that will be of help in the Wizarding World for two reasons, one will be that I'll be able to read and do the work for school and the other that for some stupid reason they think that I'm a clone of James Potter but with my mother's eyes. I only wear them when I need to read or write, but I think that in Hogwarts I will have to wear them always to not rise suspicions on me.

The function of the glasses is that they let me see the texts in Greek so that I will understand and they help me write in English then.

I have also been visiting the Underworld using shadow travel, just to talk to dad or mom or for training with dad.

Since the arrival of Annabeth and Luke, there has been some changes. One, Luke went in a mission and from that he returned with a nasty scar, anger issues and more reason for me not to trust him. Second, Annabeth and I have developed some kind of sibling bond, but she has a big crush on Luke, too. Three, the new Hermes' cabin Head is Luke because Liam was killed in a mission. Four, since Luke's mission, Chiron banned any more missions, so Annabeth has been insupportable because of that.

I hear a hoot outside the cabin and go see what it is. I look and see an owl with a letter in it. Poor owl if Lady Athenea knew this she wouldn't like it one bit.

I took the letter and see that it's my Hogwarts letter, I opened and see.

HOGWARTS SCHOOL of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore (Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock, Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards)

Dear Mr. Potter,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

So that's the Albus Dumbledore that basically told my aunt to abuse me, yes, she told me about it. I think that the best for me will be to stay out of his radar, so while I'm at Hogwarts I will pretend to be his stupid puppet while looking for a way to destroy him.

I quickly scribbled a response and give it to the awaiting owl, and I wait for it to depart to England.

I open the next page to see what I will need for the school.

UNIFORM

First-year students will require:

1. Three sets of plain work robes (black)

2. One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear

3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)

4. One winter cloak (black, with silver fastenings)

Please note that all pupil's clothes should carry name tags.
