POV Percy:

This was being the weirdest week of my whole life (probably more than a week).

First, it started with my math teacher becoming a demon math teacher and attacking me, then my best friend, Grover, started gaslighting me about how Mrs. Dodds didn't exist. It didn't work very well as Grover can't lie and I had heard him talk with Mr. Brunner about it.

Then, (I was obviously expelled because of my math teacher attacking me) when I was returning home from Yancy, Grover started following me and after seeing three old ladies with a ball of yarn he started looking at me as if I was dead, so sorry if I left him at the first opportunity but he was freaking me out.

After arriving home (and encountering my hateful stepfather, Smelly Gabe), my mom, Sally, brought me to Montauk to have a little holiday except that it was stopped short when Grover, who apparently is a satyr, arrived together with the Minotaur, who, after arriving at a weird camp that my dad wanted me to go, killed my mother (at least I thought so until I found out that my uncle had saved and kidnapped her instead of returning her) and in a wave of rage I killed the monster.

I spent like 3 days being unconscious and when I finally woke up, everyone in the camp (where my mother didn't want to send me) looked at me as if I was an idiot for asking totally normal questions (I mean how did they want me to know what a demigod is if they don't tell me? And how was I meant to know that I am one anyway if mom didn't have the chance to tell me?).

It became somewhat normal to be at camp until the game of capture the flag where I was claimed by my father (Poseidon, which makes sense as I had always liked water and water had responded to me when Clarisse, a daughter of Ares, had wanted to dump me in the toilets) and then the people at camp started to shun me as if I had a contagious disease, it's not my fault that my father is Poseidon or that I'm a child of a broken oath.

Some days after being claimed by my father, Grover came and told me that Mr. D (who is Dionysus, the god of wine, and reminds me of my stepfather because of the alcohol and gambling) wanted to kill me, in the end it wasn't that dramatic I was just offered a quest and if I failed it would mean a war between Zeus and my father and probably the end of the world, no pressure.

I didn't really want to go to the quest, especially after the prophecy that the oracle (a creepy mummy) had spouted, it went like this:

You shall go west, and face the god that has turned,

You shall find what was stolen and see it safely returned,

You shall free the angels where no time passes,

You shall be betrayed by one who calls you friend,

And you shall fail to save what matters most, in the end.

I mean it does say that I will fail to save something (I hope it doesn't mean that I won't be able to get the stupid bolt of Zeus, but I also don't want it to mean that it's mom that I fail to save) and what does "save the angels" mean? Would I meet some angels? I thought that those weren't from the Greek mythology.

After meeting with the mummy, Chiron (who is actually Mr. Bruner) asked me what it said, but I could only tell him about the first two lines (I mean the last two are a bit eerie and for some reason I want to be the only one to know about the middle one). Chiron didn't seem fooled about the prophecy being of two lines, but he didn't say anything more.

In the end, I took Grover for the quest and Annabeth (a daughter of Athena) who wanted to come (not sure why she is that excited about probably being killed but okay).
