September 2nd 1991 -Hogwarts-

I wake up the next day at 5 in the morning to see that nobody is awake. I think that I at least have 2h for them to start waking up, as breakfast is at 8 and the classes start at 9. I then go to the entrance hall, hoping that Snape will come at some moment as we had not planned when we will meet for me to exorcise the ghost professor.

It seems that Snape thought similar to me, as a few moments after I arrive, he arrives.

Snape: Mr. Potter, follow me.

I raise an eyebrow at him calling me Mr. Potter, but I realize that he is probably calling me because the portraits may be spies for Dumb-ass-door.

We started walking towards the classroom of History of Magic in silence until we arrive, where I see the ghost from the door.

Snape: Well, Hadrian. That's Binns, the professor of History of Magic. You said you could exorcise him, right?

I nod at him, and he looks at me with a questioning look as I make the charm in my bracelet become my Stygian sword.

Hadrian: This sword is made of a special material that can send souls directly to hell once they make contact with the sword.

I say hell as I know that he may not understand me if I say the Underworld.

At hearing my explanation, Snape looks at me with a blank face, as if he doesn't know how to react.

Snape: Okay, just do whatever.

I walk inside and I swing my sword across the ghost before he can see  and Binns immediately disappears.

Snape: That was fast.

The professor says from behind me, and I look at him with a raised eyebrow.

Hadrian: I did say that I only needed to strike him with my sword.

Snape: I know. Well, let's go to the Great Hall so nobody can pin it on us.

I make my sword return to being the charm in my bracelet and Snape and I make our way to the Great Hall taking different routes.

When I arrive at the Great Hall, I realize that I'm the only Gryffindor in here, seems like the Gryffindors aren't very early birds. There is only a few Hufflepuff, quite a few Ravenclaws and almost all the Slytherins.

I look at the Slytherin table to see my friends and I make a small nod which they respond with small smiles, so that nobody can see us. A bit later, Snape enters the Great Hall through the door of the staff.

After eating, I go to Transfiguration, which is my first class of the day, while nodding at the professor that was transformed into a cat, which I obviously knew since it was strange for an animal not to react strongly towards me.

Half an hour after the class started, Ron Weasley enters the classroom running and with his robes falling off him, thinking that the professor is not there he comes to sit next to me, but suddenly McGonagall returns to being human and start lecturing Ron.

After the classes from the morning ends, I go to the Great Hall to eat lunch with the Weasley following me, where it is clear that they already know that Binns is no more. I hide my smirk and start eating waiting for the old cot to say something.

Dumbledore: Students, I'm sorry to say that Professor Binns won't continue teaching at Hogwarts, so until we find a replacement there won't be History of Magic.

Some students start to celebrate while others start to groan, probably because they won't be able to sleep more in class.

When the excitement dies, I decide to go to class, which now is Potions with Snape, who as he had said treats me as any other student from Gryffindor. Probably he treats me a bit worse because of Dumbledore. Ugh.

~ Time Skip ~

It has already been a few weeks since I started Hogwarts and I'm going to go crazy.

Weasley Jr hasn't stopped trying to follow me everywhere, so I haven't been able to meet with my friends and then Granger tries to tell me how to do my homework every time she sees me study, at least it's clear that we aren't "friends" yet. Dumbledore probably told them that they had to make the friendship believable as the two don't get along very well.

The teachers also almost made me take the flying lessons, at least I was able to fend off those, even if I must pretend to be Dumbledore's "puppet" I don't want to die at my uncle's hand because of it.

The only good thing is that at least the new History of Magic teacher is Narcissa, which made Ron angry as she is a Malfoy and according to him, she is a "Death Eater" which is not true as she never took the mark.

I also had been able to give Neville the things that my parents had left him and we started to talk a bit, but we have to not make it obvious as Ron seems to not want me to talk with anyone apart from him.

I don't think I'm going to be able to endure this any longer and its only Halloween, which makes me think that I have a bad feeling about the day.

Ron: Are you going to eat that?

He asks looking at my plate, but before I can reply to him, Quirrell, the DADA teacher that has something possessing him - yes, I know of it, Hades' kids' powers - enters the Hall and exclaims of a Troll before passing out.

Terror reigns the Great Hall for a moment until Bumblebee tells the prefects to take us, the students, to our dorms, which makes me look at the Slytherins and Hufflepuffs in worry as the troll had been said to be in the dungeons and that's where they are located, but I see that their head of house are already telling them to go somewhere else.

After seeing them go safely, I start to follow the Gryffindors to our tower but before I can take a step, Weasley Jr stops me and tells me that we must go save Granger for something that he did, but okay.

We end up saving her from the troll as it had somehow ended on the third floor instead of the dungeons, but it had probably been there since the start and Quirrell had just wanted a distraction. I had already figured out that there is something there, especially as Granger and Weasley had told me before that there is a three-headed dog guarding a trapdoor.

Anyway, Weasley ends up knocking out the troll with the Wingardium Leviosa spell or that's what he thinks. As I hadn't trusted in the magical abilities of the Weasley I had taken out a dagger of Stygian iron that my father gifted me before going to Hogwarts, it can be transformed into a cross earing. I also chose the dagger as the sword would have been more noticeable.

The teachers didn't notice that the troll had died because it didn't have a soul, so they simply thought that it had died because of Weasley spelling its club.

In the end they let us go to our dormitories and now, somehow, we are all "friends" and they now want to investigate whatever is in the third floor starting with going to question a Hagrid.

Hadrian: This will be a long year.

A last whisper before going to sleep after Halloween.
