"Amira Devlin." I heard my name when I got out of the car. "It's nice to see you sweetheart." Ivan came to me with open arms.

We met in London two years ago. He and his brother had some work there, and so did I. We met at the bar and sat down right away. They are both really good company.

We got into a shootout between two gangs. All three of us survived.

Ivan is in his early thirties. He has black hair, short haircut. Slight stubble and beautiful blue eyes.

After I basically saved his life and his brother's, he told me he owed me. Now is the time to get together.

"Ivan." I hugged him. "How are you?"

"I'm on the verge of happiness right now." He said. His Russian accent makes him an even bigger guy. "But I have to say" he pulled away "I wasn't expecting you here. Why are you in Russia? You brought problems with you, didn't you?"

"It offends me that you don't think I'm causing them." I acted offended. "It really hurts me." I grabbed my chest.

"My apologies." We both laughed.

"This is my team." I pointed to the four guys behind me. "Leo, whom you've already met in London." He walked over to him and they shook hands. "Adam. Thomas. Oliver." I pointed to each one separately. "My team is in full force." I smiled.

"I've heard a lot about you." He shook hands with everyone.

"We're really grateful for letting us sleep here. At least for a few weeks." I gave him a grateful smile.

"Actually, I thought it would be better if you had your own space." We all looked at him confused. "I have a house. Not so far from here. No one lives in it and only dust falls on it. Since I will have to have constant visits, it would also be better if you were not in the house. I think that will be the best. If there's anything else or you don't like something, just say so. "

He is absolutely right. If we lived in his villa, different people we didn't know would come to him. It might not always turn out well.

"Thank you, Ivan. I don't know what we would have done without you." I walked over to him and hugged him.

"Chto-nibud' dlya vas, Amira." (Anything for you, Amira)

*****

Ivan personally took us to the place where we were about to live for the next few weeks.

I have to say, I was expecting anything but this.

My idea of a small house where we would be, evaporated into the air as I opened the door.

Everything looked so....fancy.

A large crystal chandelier cut out of the trail in the middle of a black corridor. Everything that could be painted was painted black.

"There are three rooms upstairs and three downstairs. Plenty of room for everyone. No one will bother you here." He smiled.
