"I have to say, when you said we were going to the bar, I wasn't expecting...this." I walked over to the bar and took a good look at the area Lydia had dragged me into.

The black large bar with high chairs was opposite the entrance. In the right corner was a pool table on the elevated part, with a few people. On the other side, there was little room for dancing, and beside the walls were tables with bright red seats.

I can't say it looks bad here, but I was expecting something else. Maybe it will be better here anyway, after all, at least no one will stick to us here when we dance.

We ordered the first thing that came to mind and headed for the next table.

"I used to come here often. My friends and I liked it here." She sat down opposite me. "I have to say, I missed it." She said with a slightly sad smile.

"I can bet you used to dance on that table." I nodded toward the pool table.

"Are you crazy?" She laughed. "I only danced on the bar." She said with a smile.

"Maybe that will change today." I winked at her and we drank to that.

While we were ordering another drink, Lydia began to tell me about her childhood here in Rome. Looks like she wasn't too excited when she left. She talked passionately about her friends from school while I listened to her carefully.

"We didn't even talk about how you lived through these weeks. It certainly wasn't the easiest thing to do with my brother." She laughed.

"Trust me, it wasn't." I drank. "He was an asshole."

"I believe that."

"He's an unreal idiot." Who kisses wonderfully. "He treated me terribly." Not recently. "It got worse every day." What? That sexual frustration? "He sometimes behaved like a child." With a lot of experience. "He's ..." I exhaled in frustration.

"Behind you," Lydia added to my sentence.

I immediately grabbed the table and turned around. Francesco stood in the doorway. His brown tousled hair fell into his eyes as he looked around the room. The black-and-white T-shirt wore a few drops of rain. When did it start raining?

To make matters worse, he had Leo on his heels. When their eyes found us, we froze. They started scolding us with a look before they walked over to us.

"How did they find us?" I turned back to Lydia. "I turned off my cell phone." She defended herself.

"Fuck." I ran my hand over my chest and came across a pendant. "Only I can be so stupid." I squeezed my lids tightly, hoping all of this is a dream.

How could I forget that fucking necklace?

"Really?" I heard a familiar voice next to me.

"Hi, Leo." I exhaled defeated. I heard him sit next to me.
