as veronica was initiating the fragrance shoot with max, henry, julien, and her mom. she was really nervous because of the stupid things that she has done for the past hour.
"hey, um- i have to leave, we have a family dinner in 10. hang out with you tomorrow?" henry asked. veronica awkwardly chuckled. "ha, you know it!" henry tried to go in for a kiss on the lips but veronica moved her head in time for him to kiss her cheek instead. he didn't notice that v was being weird since he's in a hurry but thank god he didn't notice.
max and veronica watched henry leave the hotel. as they watched him leave, veronica dragged max aggressively to the bathroom. "woah woah calm down, archibald. you wanna pin me down now?" max jokingly said. "no, you idiot! i'm in a lot of fucking trouble!" veronica whisper shouted. "what? calm down veronica-" "how the fuck am i gonna calm down, maximus? i just kissed you so that my life can be 'thrilling' and look where it got me! it's so fucking thrilling when you're supposedly boyfriend suddenly surprises you a visit after you kissed your best friend?!" veronica blurted out.
"wait- what?! he's your boyfriend? i thought you said that it was 'barely' a fling back in paris?" max asked. veronica sighed "well- i lied. we wanted to keep it private and it didn't exactly end it good terms since we both thought that long distance wouldn't work. i didnt expect him to visit!" veronica whisper-shouted.
"oh... you're fucked you're fucked you're fucked." max teased her. "what's funny maximus?" veronica angrily asked max. "nothing, it's just that you wanted a thrill and here it is. you said that you both didn't end on good terms exactly and it wasn't even that serious so don't stress about it too much. unless we are posted on gossip gi-"
before finishing his sentence. their phone vibrated. "oh shit. i'm fucked." veronica said in fear as she opened her phone.
