As the sun slowly descended, the people of Santa Cecilia gazed at Socorro Rivera who was running towards the local cemetery. Some swore they saw tears forming in her eyes.

Meanwhile, the deceased Riveras were getting scanned at the Land of the Dead's terminal.

A nervous Coco was waiting with Julio, Rosita, Victoria, Oscar, and Felipe near the beautiful marigold bridge.

"Mama, you seem uncertain about something." Victoria told Mama Coco with a look of concern.

Mama Coco gazed up at her eldest daughter. "I have this feeling that something isn't right."

Victoria gave her mama a kiss on the cheek. She then said as she slightly adjusted her glasses, "That is something I would usually say, but Mama you're not the kind of person who would worry."

All of a sudden, a buzzer went off.

Imelda and Hector's photo didn't show up on the scanner's screen!

Imelda and Hector were horrifically stunned. The terminal agent said worriedly, "This can't be right. Hasn't your photo been up ever since Miguel returned to the Land of the Dead?"

Imelda tried to reply in a composed manner,"Si..."

Hector said with a frown, "There has to be some sort of mistake."

The agent replied, looking down, "I'm very sorry. It would appear that someone took your photo..."

In a state of disbelief, Imelda sat on a nearby bench.

Hector slowly went over to his wife to sit down next to her. He then said gently, "Imelda..."

Imelda held up a hand to shush her husband. Without looking up, Imelda asked, feeling agitated, "Who would have the nerve to steal our photo on the ofrenda?"

An exhausted Socorro stopped in the middle of Santa Cecilia's cemetery to catch her breath.

She soon looked to her left to see a little girl asking her mother, "Mama? Why can't we see the dead?"

The mother smiled sadly. "Let's just say our eyes weren't really meant to see them, mija."

Socorro fell on the grass, feeling so dumb with herself. More tears trickled down her face. She wept, "There's no way I can return to my family now..."

All of a sudden, Socorro felt extreme hunger. She had the urge to eat anything.

After looking to see if anyone was paying any attention to her, she took a piece of sweet bread that was placed next to a grave.

Once she took a bite, she looked up.

That proved to be a huge mistake because she was suddenly put into some sort of trance.

She smiled at a male skeleton that appeared to be eighteen years old. He danced gracefully and beckoned Socorro to follow him with one finger. Socorro slowly walked across the cemetery, her eyes still bulged.

The dancing skeleton danced along a marigold bridge. It happened to be the same one Miguel walked on years before. A hypnotized Socorro skipped across the bridge much to the shock and confusion of nearby skeletons.

The deceased Riveras were walking back home when Mama Coco could hear whispers about a human girl entering their realm.

Hector immediately noticed his daughter asking a tall, female skeleton a question.

The female skeleton gasped. "You didn't hear? A human girl in a flowing white and green dress with beautiful wavy hair is here."

Imelda frowned. She tried to think who this girl might be.

The female skeleton continued, "And a lot of skeletons have noticed that she was carrying a picture of..."

She slowly looked right at Imelda, Coco, and Hector in complete shock.

The Riveras all gasped in horror that the mysterious girl was Socorro!
