Chapter 16-Ella's POV

'It's just a drop in the ocean, a change in the weather, I was praying that you and me might end up together cause you are my heaven' the lyrics of Ron Pope's "Drop In The Ocean' plays through my beats as we still sit on the plane. I love this song. Pure genius. I always played this song waiting for the perfect guy.

Waiting for Jack.

I look over at him and Finn across the isle and they are both asleep with their heads leaned slightly on each other.

He is my heaven.

Kylie is beside me finishing up a paper that she was assigned over Spring Break because she is determined to have all her work done so she can have a free time in Paris. I think it's a really good idea because she has been very stressed lately. She's a very hard worker.

I've had no regrets since dropping out of college and getting a job doing what I love more than anything.

"El!" Kylie bumps me interrupting my thoughts.

"What?" I ask.

"When we get to Paris we need to surprise Jack and Finn with our amazing French skills" she laughs.

"Oh yeah! I forgot we didn't tell them we took French for four years in high school! I'm so excited!"

"Me too! Do you remember when the school took a trip to Paris but we couldn't afford to go?"

"Yes! We wanted to go sooo badly! Well, I guess now's our chance."

--------

"Here, I got it babe." Says Finn taking one of my bags.

"Thanks Finn!" I say loudly so Jack, who refuses to wake up can hear, but I end up laughing.

"Uhhhh I'm coming" he says getting up and stretching.

We finally exit the plane. Kylie and I walk into the airport with Jack and Finn behind us struggling with most of the luggage that they insist on carrying.

"Where do we go?" I ask, calling to the boys behind me.

"To that counter to rent a cab that will take us to the hotel." Jack says point to my left.

As we walk towards the counter I glance at Kylie right as she looks at me and smiles. I know exactly what she's thinking. Time to whip out the French.

We walk up and I very casually say "Bonjour Madame! Nous aimerions louer une cabine." (Hello miss! We would like to rent a cab.)

The lady smiles and replies "Bonjour! Sûr où?" (Hello! Where to?)

"De cet hôtel" (To this hotel) replies Kylie just as casually and hands her the brochure to our hotel.

"Oui, il y aura 10 minutes d'attente il!" (Yes, it will be 10 minutes wait there) The lady smiles and points to a bench.

Kylie and I thank the lady, in French of course and turn around to see Jack and Finn looking really shocked to say the least. Kylie and I give each other a satisfied smile and calmly walk over to the bench.

Our fist drive around Paris is incredible. All the people and buildings are beautiful! I love seeing other cultures! I think it's so cool to see how people live and what their customs and languages are like.

"This way" says a man with a strong French accent at the entrance of the hotel.

He loads our luggage on a trolley, gives us our room keys, and tells us to go on up.

"It won't work!" Jack whines sliding the plastic key into the the door but it won't open.

I step closer to help.
