You're My Wonderwall

Chapter 5- Kylie's POV

The room is quiet and dark. The only light is the small Christmas tree and one candle.

"Good morning beautiful" I hear a soft, raspy voice come from behind me.

"Morning Finn" I sit up trying to get my hair out of my face.

I turn around to face Finn. He's grinning at me even though he just woke up, his eyes are puffy from rubbing them, and his hair is out of place. Somehow, he still looks handsome.

The couch we slept on is not comfortable at all but being with Finn changed it.

He leans up to where I am and wraps his arms around my torso, laying his head on my shoulder.

"I need to get Jack up but looks like he isn't anywhere near it" Finn chuckles at Jack and Ella.

They're both sprawled out on the couch. Ella's behind him with her arms around his chest. Jack's hands are holding her. You can see him rubbing her hand softly with his thumb. This has to be one of the sweetest things I've ever seen.

"Finn, I have to take a picture of this" i smile whispering it to him.

I grab my iPhone and take a couple of picture of these lovely two.

"Very cute" Finn comes behind me again taking my phone "I think we need to take cute pictures" he smirks.

I laugh and roll my eyes at him. Finn sits down and pats his leg signaling for me to sit there. He holds out the camera and we take the cutest pictures I've ever been in!

He slide the button to video; I can hear him taking in a deep breath, then he presses the record button.

"So Kylieee, I was just wondering if you wanted to ,um, go on a date with me tonight" I can already tell my face is getting red and the butterflies are swarming in my stomach.

I look at Finn and reply "I would love to!"

His smile grows from ear to ear. "Well it's settled I will pick you up here at 4! Don't dress up though!" He winks getting up headed towards Jack.

I go to my room to changed for today. It's just 6 a.m. but the boys had to do stuff for their family today.

When I walk in and jack is up with all of his things, the same with Finn.

Ella hugs both of them telling them bye.

Finn walks over to give me a hug and kiss on the cheek.

"Don't forget both of your cars are still at Starbucks!" I laugh

"I almost forgot about where they were" jack looks puzzled "well bye girls!" He gives us another smile and winks at Ella.

"And ill be picking you up here at 4 Kylie don't forget" Finn snaps his fingers at me and smirks heading out the door.

Ella grabs my shoulders and starts jumping "what did he just say!!"

"He kinda asked me out" I start blushing madly

"AHHH" Ella yells "where is the date going to be?!"

"I don't know yet El! All I know is not to dress up and he's coming at 4. Why don't you go out with Jack?" I ask her

"I think I'm gonna go shopping with Mazz in Mayfield. We need to go Christmas shopping for our friends and I can already have that done. Plus I haven't hung out with Mazz alone in awhile"

Ella goes to the kitchen to turn the tea pot on.

"Well that sounds good! Ole Jack will be heartbroken" I laugh taking out our mugs.

"Nah I think he said something last night about doing something for his mum tonight" she lets out a deep breath then a huge smile comes on her face

"What is it" I narrow my eyes at her

"So while you and Finn were asleep, Jack leads me outside to the balcony and we both played guitar and I sang. Kylie, it was the most perfect moment ever. And" she pauses "he kissed me" she bits her bottom lip.

My jaw drops "ELLA I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!" We start doing our usual happy dance.

"It will be really fun and who knows what Finn has planned!" I laugh picking up my coffee mug.

"Seems like you and jack got a little cozy last night" I smirk taking a sip

Ella starts blushing automatically "yeah we did. It was one of the funniest night I've had in awhile. We really needed that Kylie"

I can defiantly agree with her on this one.

'Ding' my iPhone lights up. I guess I fell asleep on the couch a couple of hours ago.

The message is from Finn.

'Be at your place in 30 minutes (: can't wait to see you again lovely'

I look at the clock and start panicking; it's 3:30 and Finn is suppose to pick me up soon. I look like I just woke up from a 10 hour nap.

"Don't worry I laid out some cloths on the bathroom counter" Ella puts her hands on her hips

"You're a savior!" I run up and hug her then go get the clothes.

She's picked out my white cross shirt, skinny jeans, grey short uggs, my favorite black beanie, and a scarf. I quickly put on a little makeup and my hair in a loose braid. 10 minutes till 4, right on time.

I text Finn back and tell him I'm ready right when he gets here.

"So when's Mazz going to come get you for shopping time?" I sit down next to Ella. She's strumming on her guitar some old song I haven't heard in awhile.

"Not really sure, probably in 2 hours. Should we get something for jack and Finn for Christmas or is it too soon?" She questions sitting the guitar down.

"Um, I think we could. I have no clue if they're getting us something... It be awkward if they gave us something and we didn't get them anything" 5 minutes till 4 now, I keep checking the time.

"Yeah I was thinking the same thi-" Ella was cut off by knocking at the door. That conversation ended.

I open the door and Finn's standing there biting his lip "hello there" he smiles.

"Hey! We better get going" I grab my purse and phone "bye Ella have fun shopping with Mazz" I hug her quickly then run back to Finn.

"Bye Ella!" Finn waves then shuts the door.

"So you wanna tell me where we are going now?" I look up at him smiling.

He's wearing faded jeans, a tight fitted black shirt, and white converse. I love this look on him.

"I guess I can tell you" he chuckles "I wanted us to have something very fun to remember so... I got us tickets to go go cart racing in downtown London!"

"Finn! This is going to be so fun!" I grab his hand. Our fingers intertwined in seconds walking to his car.

"I'm glad you like it! Kinda afraid you would down the idea of it" he opens the car for me.

"Well off we go!" He cracks the car and drives off

After 10 minutes of Finn driving in circles we finally arrive at the go cart place. There's not a single car there.

"Ready to get beat" he smirks playfully pushing me

"Maybe I should be asking you that!"

Finn laughs and shakes his head. We get up to the booth to pay and I reach for my money. Finn refuses that I pay it's his job to pay he keeps telling me.

"Are you sure?" I hate it when people spend money on me.

"Positive" he kisses my cheek.

We enter the small track. There are 10 carts of different colors. I pick the red one and, Finn gets the white one.

"Ready!" He yells over the engines.

"Ready!" I yell back.

We take off and I'm in the lead and, Finn starts going 10x faster to catch up. He's trying to video some of it but its defiantly not working.

6 laps later and Finn is a little ahead. We only have 5 minutes left to race.

He starts slowing down and I get ahead, for the last lap I win!

I park my cart back to the original place and Finn follows closely behind me.

"Well that was very, very fun Ms. Kylie" he puts his arm on my lower back.

"I know good job coming up with this idea" I smile

"Yeah jack helped me a little but he gets no credit" we both laugh and get back in Finn's car.

We sing along to the radio the entire way home and talk about our past.

He pulls up at El and I's flat complex.

"Do you want me to walk you back up" he turns the car off

"Only if you want to.." Please say yes I think to myself

"Of course I do" he hops out and opens my door.

"Why thank you" I grab my purse and hold on to his free hand.

"I had the most amazing time with you" I can feel him scooting closer to me.

"I did too, I really like being with you Finn..."

We reach my apartment door, Finn stops and spins me around to face him.

"What is it?" We are very close. He's much taller than me so i'm looking up at him.

"Do you know how beautiful you are?" He moves a strand of hair from my face.

My whole body fills with energy and happiness.

Suddenly he slowly starts leaning in. Then it happens.

We kissed.

Him and I both lean back not sure of what to say, but by the huge smile and blushing growing face. I think he enjoyed it.

"Please, we will have to do this another time" he wraps me in a protective hug. "I'd love too"

"Well, I better go... Jacks probably wondering why I'm still out" he smirks

"Okay text me when you get home?"

"Always" he gives me one last quick kiss then walks back down the stairs.

I open the door to our flat. It's dark but the Christmas tree is still lighting up half the room. I plop down on the couch and turn on my iPod

. One of my favorite songs comes on 'Wonderwall' by Oasis.This song is exactly how i'm feeling. Finn could be my wonderwall.

I can't wait for Ella to get home so I can tell her what happened..
