Everything Has Changed

Chapter 4-Ella's POV

This week passed like a blur, exams were hard and we are ready for the weekend. My exams were extremely hard mainly because I couldn't focus a bit on studying. Every time I sat down to I ended up writing a song or strumming on my guitar. I'm in school to be a writer and Kylie is majoring in psychology and minoring in writing. My parents think I'll get some job in an office, but I plan on being a singer/song writer.

Finally it's Friday afternoon after exams are over and it's time for Christmas holiday! Kylie and I are walking back to the flat when our iPhones buzz almost at the same time. We look at each other and smile, we already know who it is. We laugh and pull out our phones to check the texts. Mine says "Hey lovely! I hope you did we'll on your exams! I can't wait to see you tomorrow ;)" It's from Jack, he's been texting me all week, and Finn has been doing the same to Kylie.

"What does yours say?" I ask grinning at her.

"It says 'Hey Hun! I bet you're glad your exams are over! I hope they were okay! :D'"

"This is so good Ky! I'm so excited!"

"Me too! I wonder what the video is going to be about!"

Jack and Finn had both said it was a surprise but they had a plan.

When we arrive at the flat he had already decided we were going to spend the rest of the evening decorating for Christmas. It's sad because its already the second week of December and we haven't got a Christmas tree!

We immediately climb into our pjs and put cookies in the oven. I turn on some Christmas music while Kylie starts hot tea and picks a Christmas movie.

While the cookies bake we head outside on our small balcony over looking London to string some lights on the railing. We stay outside even though our fingers are frozen to get them looking just right. Finally we are satisfied so we go inside to defrost ourselves.

"Let's not do the tree tonight! I just want to watch a movie with cookies!" I groan collapsing on the sofa.

"Sounds like a plan to me! We can put it up another day this weekend."

We watch Home Alone to get us in the Christmas spirit then decide to watch Fresh Prince of Bel Air after.

"OH MY GOD ELLA!" I hear being screamed across the room.

I open my eyes slowly but close them immediately because of the bright sun.

"Ella! We slept in we're late to meet Finn and Jack! Hurry!"

I groan as she pushes me off the sofa. I guess we had fallen asleep there last night.

We hurry to get dressed and ready. I wear a hipster style sweater with a scarf, jeans, and combat boots. I also decide to leave my hair natural so my dirty blonde hair flows in wavy curls down my back.

Kylie wears a v neck Beatles tshirt with jeans, a leather jacket, and combat boots. She curls her naturally straight hair in ringlets that look great.

When we are all ready we go into the small den to get some tea. We are still in a hurry but I look at my phone and we still have an hour.

"Woah! I guess we were just really excited and didn't want to be late so we got ready super quick!" Kylie points out.

"I guess so! Hey come here I want to show you something I found."

I lead her into the lounge and sit down with my guitar.

"This song "Everything Has Changed" by Taylor Swift relates to us perfectly!"

"Wait let me guess! It has to do with Ed Sheeran somehow doesn't it?" she says grinning.
