Grade 8

Chapter 3- Kylie's POV

I'm still replaying what Andy just told us. Sitting in the cab, I look down at the small piece of paper he handed Ella.

"Are you going to email it ,El" I nod my head down to the small, crinkled paper.

Ella hesitate then picks it up and stares at the email Andy was written down.

"So Jack's email is jacksgap814@live.com" she chuckles lying it back down.

"I guess so, I'll put it in my phone and email Jack or Finn when we get home"

Rain starts pouring outside, London rain and cold weather what's new.

We get out of the cab and run to the door covering ourselves from the rain.

Ella opens her clutch searching for the key to open the flat.

"Hurry it's cold and raining!" I yell shivering.

"I'm hurrying!!" Ella finds the keys and opens the flat. It's really warm in there. I look at the room and the first thing you notice are: homework pages,books, El's guitars and, random CDs. Our place is pretty clean for most girls in University.

"That place was really nice tonight Ky. We need to go again" Ella says pulling her heels off.

"Same here" my phone vibrates with Andy's name coming up

'Did you email Jack and Finn?!'

I laugh and roll my eyes.

"Andy really wants us to do a video with the twins ,huh" I say to Ella

"You're telling me! He wouldn't stop talking about it at dinner. Mazz seemed pretty into it too" she says stepping out in her PJs.

Ella always looks beautiful. Litteraly everyone her and I meet, they're jealous of her hair! It's dirty blonde and wavy, almost looks ombre with light blonde. We've been friends since grade school. People really didnt think we would get along since we came from 2 totally different cliques, but our personalities were just alike. I could always come to her with my problems and trust her 100%. We have also had the same past with relationships; they didn't turn out too well... I've been through alot growing up and she's always been there. I couldn't ask for a better friend.

Then I remember I have to reply to Andy's text

'Okay I will right now, be patience my friend' message sent.

I search my phone for Jacks's email and click on it. "Here goes nothing" I say to myself taking a deep breath.

'Hey Jack, it's Kylie and Ella from LondonLife youtube channel ! We heard from our friends, Andy and Mazz, that you wanted to make a video with us? We're pretty free on the weekends and our Holiday break is coming up soon from UNI. Maybe we could plan around then? Here's both our phone numbers to text us when you decide. Thanks again! "Just emailed him!" I smile at my Ella whose focus is on twitter at the moment.

She jerks her head back up and starts dancing around "Yay! How about we get coffee in the morning before classes for celebration?"

"Sounds good to me! You know me, never being able to pass up Starbucks" I laugh. El rolls her eyes chuckling.

"Well love, I'm going to bed. You get to be ready at 7 to leave!" She commands heading to our bedroom.

"Okay goodnight, love you!" I reply checking my email again.

Still no messages.

Might as well go to sleep now. I put my iPhone on charge and head to our room.
