**In this one, Paul lives with Daniel in his flat. This is like based of Corrie recently. (Even though non of this, except them two moving in together, happened.**

Paul's POV:
I'm stood in the Rovers (at the bar) when a man, who looks atleast 2 years older than me, stands next to me. It's obvious that he isn't a local.

"How are you doing sweetheart?" The man asks. His voice gives me the shivers and not the good kind. I immediately start to feel uncomfortable.

"Don't call me that." I say not sparing a glance at him.

"Aw don't be like that. What's a handsome guy like you doing at a pub on his own?" The man then puts his hand on my lower back and I tense up.

"Leave me alone. I have a boyfriend." I say quietly.

I know it's not true but I would do anything to get him away from me. I know I could probably fight back but my mind has gone numb with panic and I can't get myself to move. Why is no one behind the bar for god's sake?

"Is pretty boy getting nervous? Let me sort that out for y-" He is cut off by a voice behind me.

"Is everything alright here?" It's Daniel.

"Ay leave us alone mate. Me and pretty boy over here were just talking." The stranger says to Daniel as he lets go of my lower back.

"I told you I'm not interested." I say through gritted teeth.

"Ye ye. You say you have a boyfriend but I don't see him." He says smirking. Crap! I didn't think this would happen.

"Really? You must be blind then because I'm standing right here." Wait. Is Daniel pretending to be my boyfriend?

"No way. Your not dating him." The guy laughs.

Daniel grabs my waist and moves me to the side slightly. He then stands face to face with the creep before speaking.

"He is my boyfriend and I am not going to let some scum like you hurt him. Keep your hands off him before I do something your not gonna like." His voice is venomous. I didn't know he could act.

"Alright man, I'm leaving. Enjoy your little boy toy." The man then walks around Daniel and leaves the pub.

i sag in relief and rest my elbows on the bar. I then put my head in my hands as silent tears role down my face. That isn't the first time something like this has happened to me, it's just the first time I've been this lucky.

"You okay?" I hear Daniel ask. Shit I forgot he was hear.

I stick to nodding my head, not trusting my voice. He obviously doesn't believe me because I feel him turn me towards him and pull me into a hug.

"I'm sorry that happened Paul. Did he do anything before I got here?" Daniel asks in worry. I shake my head.

"Apart from placing his hand on my lower back, no. Thank you for helping me. This isn't the first time this has happened, it's just the first time I've been saved." I say as I pull away form the hug.

"Oh Paul." He says sadly.

"Don't please. I don't like sympathy." I say wiping my face with my hands.

"Yeah okay. I'm glad I could help you though." He says patting me on the back.

"Appreciate it mate. Good acting skills by the way." I say.

"The anger wasn't acting. I was angry at what he was saying about you. The boyfriend thing was acting but it wasn't hard at all." He says shrugging. I laugh slightly.

"Right, let's get you home. Your bound to be exhausted and as far as I'm aware, you have work in the morning."

"Ugh fine." I say as I follow him out the pub.

I'm so glad Daniel saved me. I don't know what I would have done if he didn't.
