Betty sat on her pink bed, One Direction music playing from her speaker. Cheryl, Kevin, and Veronica all sat around her, listening intently to the girl's stories from the past two days. Their jaws dropped when they heard about her almost sexual encounter with Sweet Pea, the motorcycle ride, and of course, the tattoo now permanently on Betty's back. Of course, she didn't tell them about Jughead, deciding that their whole romance and reunion would be too much for right now.

"Oh my God! Betty Cooper! You've lived like an entire life in the past two days! Aren't you so happy we made you do this bucket list?" Kevin squealed over his best friend's more recent news.

Betty laughed, "You know, I still have some issues with number 50 and number.."

"Oh hush, Betty. You love this list end of discussion." Kevin cut her off before she could say something else. The girls laughed at the interaction between the two. Out of the small group of four, Kevin and Betty were probably the closest, as they had known each other since kindergarten and had made their way through the world together. Veronica joined the group sophmore year, when Jason Blossom was found dead. Cheryl, Jason's twin sister, was often a bit of a bitch, but after finding out that Betty was her somewhat distant cousin, she had a change of heart, and decided to join the group of friends.

"So, Betty, how we feeling about the party tonight?" Veronica asked. Betty's mom had gone out of town for the weekend, making it the perfect opportunity for Betty to complete number four on her list: host a party. The social event also provided a perfect opportunity to do item number twelve: pretend to know a stranger. However, Betty was not excited at all for the party. She was somewhat anti-social, and had never really gone to many parties during her high school years. This night was going to be a new experience for her.

"Honestly, V? I'm freaking out. Like, what if my mom comes back early or nobody shows up or..or.."

"B, you're worrying too much. We'll bring alcohol and as long as people have that and crazy loud music, it'll be fine." Veronica reassured her. Betty smiled, pretending to be fine, despite all the nerves building up in her body.

A few hours later, the party was in full swing. There were kids from all over Riverdale, some of them that Betty knew, and others that Betty definitely had no clue who they were or why they were there. It was awful, and Betty's anxiety was going through the roof.

"Betty! Hey, there you are! Thanks for inviting me! I hope you don't mind, I brought a friend. You look beautiful, by the way." Sweet Pea told her, coming up to give her a hug. Betty was wearing a lace dress, which was dyed light blue, and skin-tight against her body. She did look amazing.

"Thanks, Sweets. Um, wait who'd you invite?" As she asked the question, Jughead Jones came up behind Sweet Pea.

Sweet Pea smiled, "Oh, just my friend Jughead. You remember? From the other night? He gave you a tattoo?"

Betty chuckled, "Yeah, I definitely remember. Hi, Jughead."

Jughead smiled, "Hey Betty. How's the tattoo holding up?"

"Good, thanks. Um, excuse boys, I need to go find, um, a friend. Nice to see you guys." Betty smiled and left the two boys, panic mushrooming up in her gut. She had no clue if she could survive the whole night if Jughead was here. This night was going to be interesting.

Later, Betty's friends decided that it was time to complete her task. They cornered her in the kitchen to force her into doing it.

"Okay, B, you ready?" Veronica asked. Betty shook her head no.

"Okay, great! Kev, you wanna pick someone out for Betty to approach?" Cheryl asked. Kevin smiled, and turned around to find an unfamiliar face in the crowd.
