Middle school excitement!

Chapter 11: My first date!!

(Bird chirps, sunlight comes through my window.) "William....." I said loudly. "(Gasp!!) William!! Today's our date!! Yes!!" I shouted as I pushed my covers to the side, jumped up from my bed, and danced to the bathroom. "Good morning, sis! I thought you'd be sleeping in." Regina asked when I got to the bathroom. "I'm.. Going out with some friends today! Yay~~!" I said, happily. "I hope you have fun! Try and bring back something for me, okay?" She said as she finished brushing her teeth. "Um... Okay?" I said. "Oh no, time's running out!" I thought. I quickly brushed my teeth, showered, got up to my room, and tries to pick out some clothes that would be perfect for our date. "Maybe I should wear pop-style. Or cute style. Ahhh!!! I can't decide.. Oh... Maybe I can combine those two together!" So I wore a pink top that has a cute rabbit on it, a green polka dotted jacket, short blue jeans, a green hat with a bow on it, and for shoes I wore a mint colored converse. "Whew... This looks pretty good!" I said, feeling excited for our date. "Will William like this style?? I don't know.... I hope!"

"Maggie, I think your friend is at the door!!" Regina called out while I was getting my bag. "Okay!" I ran down the stairs, and almost tripped. "Whoa!!" I yelled. William came inside the house and caught me, just as when I was about to fall. "Thanks...." I said, when I realize that he looks pretty tired holding me. "Am... Am I too heavy??" I asked. "Ah.. No.. It's okay." William said, squeezing in a smile. "Are you ready?" "Yes! Thank you for taking me.." I blushed uncontrollably. "Let's go then! No time to waste!" He grabbed my hand, and together we ran out the door.

We walked into a very elegant sandwich shop. "Wow.. That's so like him to eat here!" I thought. I looked around and knew that I don't belong in here... There's a lot of women here.. Like the rich ones.. Not even a single teenage girl. "I know what you're thinking... This place isn't some place that you like to come... But anyways... Just come with me, or.. You might want to eat at another one?" William saw my worried look, and said calmly. "Ah.. No!! This place is good.." I stammered. "Well then," William smiled. "Waiter!!" He waved his hands towards a girl, and she came over immediately. "Yes? What do you want??" She asked. "The normal ones?" "2 normals, please. The one that I always eats here." He told her, and she went away quickly.

The food came quick. "Wow! That looks yummy!!" I exclaimed when I saw that "normals" that William always eat. It's a sandwich, cutted into triangles. The bread's been baked nicely, and the lettuce and turkey looks delicious!! "Please, eat first, princess. This sandwich... Is called 'the princess's tiara'. It's an elegant sandwich made for a true princess like you, Maggie." William smiled his warm smile towards me again. He looks like a true prince!! "Thanks for treating me to this. I.. Really like this restaraunt. I'll treat next!" I said, and smiled. "Next...??" He asked curiously. "Yes," I said while taking a small bite of the sandwich. Yummy~~ "I'm going to treat you to a desserts shop!! I hope you will like it... It's what I always eat with Claire when we hang out." "Interesting..." He said. Then we quietly ate in silence. I keep making funny faces because I was enjoying the sandwich. I also made William laugh!! Our date's going great!!

After we finished eating the sandwiches, we went to the desserts shop that I was talking about. "Wow!" He exclaimed. "What do you want to order?" I asked. "Um.... A chocolate fudge sundae..." He ordered. "And I want a strawberry sundae!! Peachie!!"I yelled. "Ah!! Hey Maggie!! I see that you've brought a boy, huh! I will serve you guys the best sundaes!!" Peachie, the waiter that I've met, said. (Minutes later) "Here's your sundaes!" Peachie called. "Thanks!" We got our spoons ready, and chatted while we ate.

"Thank you for a fun day today, William. I had fun." I said. "Me too. We should do this again sometimes! Well, bye!" William smiled, then walked away. Yay! Dream date complete!!
