Middle school excitement!

Chapter 12: The perfect couple

(After a few weeks, at the locker) I was getting out my stuff when someone covered my eyes and asked me," Do you know who this is?". "Um....." I was unsure because his voice sounded a little... Weird.... Alan? No. He would never touch me again because he is still sitting there, waiting to overcome his... Broken heart. And this warm, big hands... "William? Is it you??" I asked, and the hands raised, no longer covering my eyes. "Yes!! Bingo." He said with his normal voice. "I want to meet you after school. Could you come? We'll go to your desserts shop." He smiled. "Ok...." I blushed, since I've always been doing that whenever William's there. "Great. See you after school!" He made a peace sign, then walked away.

After the fourth period, I saw Moira, catching up to William. "Hey, Will!!" She smiled at him. "You wanna go to the "Madame's place" (Madame's place: the sandwich shop that William treated Maggie to...) today?? I made time for you today especially!" "Sorry, Moira. I have somewhere to go today. Next time, okay?" William said with a sad smile. "You NEVER make time for me!" Moira said, angrily. "You'll get this!" She stomped away from William and I went to my fifth period.

(After school~) "Are you ready for this, Maggie?" William said. "Totally!" I replied. We stood at the door in front of the sweets shop, and we walked in. "Hey! Maggie and...that guy! This is where you guys will sit since you've made a special seating arrangement~'' Peachie welcomed us into the 2 person seat. "Thanks," William smiled at Peachie, and ordered the sundae that I ate on our date, which is strawberry sundae. "Where's your order?" I asked. "We'll share one." William said. "Ok~ please wait for your order." Peachie winked at me, then walked away.

"So.. How's you and Moira?" I said, trying to pick a topic. "Oh, good." William replied. We just stared at each other until the sundae came. "I putted two spoons on this sundae, so enjoy it guys~" Peachie smiled. "Thank you. Let's eat,Maggie. " We picked up our spoons, and ate at the same time. "Um, Maggie. I have something to ask you." William said. "Yeah, sure. What is it?" I replied. "Do you.. Want to.. Go out with me?" He said while blushing. I gasped. It was like a dream come true!

"Sorry for asking you this question. But.. I started to like you the first time I see you at 6th grade. I keep wanting to talk to you, but I'm just too shy to talk. Now we've become friends, and I want to be more than a friend to you. I want us to become a couple." He said. My heart beat. What should I say? Then I finally decide on one. "Yes! I would love to become a couple with you! I already liked you too.."
