"Everything you can imagine is real."

They all watched as the ice began to melt and crack away. "We need to cross now!" Alex said in his stern voice, this was their only hope. "Wait, maybe we should think about this." Susan shouted "We don't have time." Peter told the older girl. "I was just trying to be realistic." Susan points out.

"No, you're trying to be smart...as usual!" Peter tells her, earning a glare from the girl. They all begin climbing down to the lake Alex picks up his youngest sister and goes to step on the ice but it instantly begins making a cracking noise.

"Wait, maybe I should go first." Mr Beaver suggests. "Maybe you should." Peter says while Alex says "all of us together have more of a chance of us all making it."

"You've been sneaking second helpings haven't you?" Mrs Beaver asks even in this situation she sounded happy. "Well you never know what meal is gonna be your last, especially with your cooking." Alex smiled at the two; he wanted something like this but knew it would never happen. They all begin to walk across the ice, careful of where they stood.

"if mum knew what we were doing..." Susan began but alex stopped her "Well Mum's not here!"

Lucy notices wolves which have begun heading their way when she looks at the top of the hill "Oh no!" "Run!!" Alex ordered. The Wolves leap in front of them, growling & sneering. Alex pulls out his sword preparing to fight the animals.

"Put that down boy , someone might get hurt ." Mr. Beaver is pinned down "Don't worry about me! Slit his throat !" beaver tells the eldest boy. "Leave now while you can , and your brother leaves with you." the leader of the wolves growls. "Stop Alex , maybe we should listen to him!" Susan shouts to him.

"Smart girl ." "Don't listen to him. Kill him. Kill him now!" Mr Beaver shouts. "Look, just because some man in a red suit hands you a sword doesn't make you a hero! So just drop it!" Susan shouted at him. "No Alex! Narnia needs ya! Gut him while ye have the chance!" Mr Beaver shouts back. Alex gets closer to the wolf pointing the sword towards the creature.

"What's it gonna be, Son of Adam? We're not going to wait forever. And neither is the river."

"ALEX!!" Lucy shouts, clinging to his neck as ice begins to collapse onto them. "Hold onto me!" all three of his siblings keep tight hold of him. Alex Stabs sword into the ice, and they all begin to float away on the ice Alex trying to hold onto them all but struggling. They get to the shore. But only three of the children made it Alex has Lucy's coat in hand, but no Lucy.

"What have you done?!" Susan screams "Lucy!" Alex begins shouting out. Tears in his eyes, his voice hoarse from how loud he is shouting. The younger girl suddenly appears out of nowhere. "Has anyone seen my coat?"

"Your brother has you well looked after." Mr Beaver told the youngest girl. Everyone laughs and Alex embraces the girl. "I don't think you'll be needing those coats any more!" Mrs Beaver points out.

They walk through and see spring coming about and flowers budding as they leave there coats and head toward Aslan's Camp.

They all soon entered the camp which was full of life. Alex now had his sage green shirt first few buttons open and untucked from his light brown pants. No one was no longer wet due to the heat.

Alex looked around everyone here was different no one was the same he couldn't fight the grin which was on his face. "Why are they all staring at us?" Susan asked through her smile. "Maybe they think you look funny." Lucy told the older girl cheekily from beside alex.
