A Minor Hiccup

"I can't believe you talked me into this..." Theodore is now sat in team RWBY's dorm, on Weiss's bed with Weiss sat beside him. He looks across the room to Eliza; both her and Weiss shoot him cheeky grins. "Or that I'm required to wear this." He gestures to the flowing coat he is reluctantly wearing.

Yang smirks, checking her gauntlets. "Come on Teddy, this is to help us stay a little more 'Incognito'." She replies, gesturing to the rest of her team, all of whom are adding the final touches to their costumes. Theodore sighs at the use of the nickname Coco gave him, which is now free for anyone to use, it seems.

"Yeah Goodwitch, 'Incognito'. I still can't believe you have almost no casual clothes that aren't suits or shirts." Eliza quips, recalling the hangar after hangar of suits with just the few other, distinctly 'upper class' clothes. Come to think of it, even his 'relaxed' wear is rather minimalist. "I mean, would it kill you to buy a hoodie or two? Maybe a colourful top?" She adds with a grin.

"Firstly, I'm not sure any of what we're about to do will stay 'Incognito'," Theodore replies with a sharp smile. "And secondly, my wardrobe is both functional and fashionable." He shifts his shoulders in the large overcoat, thinking it must have gotten smaller since he last wore it.

"Aww, you don't think we can be stealthy." Ruby chirps sarcastically from above him. "Of course we can, and anyway, today is the day the investigation finally begins!" She announces excitedly, dropping down in front of Weiss and Theodore, startling Weiss a little when she throws her arms out upon landing.

"I'm glad to see we're taking this so seriously..." Weiss scoffs.

"Hey, we have a plan that's... moderately serious." Yang says, grinning again as she nudges Eliza confidently with her elbow.

"Perhaps we should go over our roles in said plan then?" Theodore suggests, looking around.

"Good Idea." Weiss quickly agrees, taking the lead. "Ruby and I will head to the CCT to check the Schnee records for any other dust robberies or inconsistencies; considering I'm one of the family, getting in and collecting the files shouldn't be an issue." Her smile is confident as she flicks her hair.

Ruby only rolls her eyes.

"The White Fang has regular faction meetings to issue orders and recruit new members," Blake reminds them. "If I can get in then I might be able to find out what their next move is." She is seemingly in a far more relaxed state of mind now that action is being taken. She turns to Yang, who takes up the mantle.

"I've got an old friend on the shady side of town," Yang tells them, "that typically knows everything going on in Vale." She crosses her arms, a happy smirk coming to her face. "Getting info out of him shouldn't be too hard." She cracks her knuckles meaningfully.

RWBY then look as a team to Theodore and Eliza. There had been various reactions to MGTA finding out about the investigation; Blake was reluctant to include them, Weiss was almost insistent and Ruby and Yang didn't see why not? Theodore and Eliza exchange a look of their own which makes Blake wonder if they're sharing a few telepathic words, which would greatly annoy her, and not just because its rude. After just a second MGTA look back at RWBY.

"I'll accompany you to the rally." Theodore's decision shocks everyone.

"And I can go with Weiss and Ruby to CCT... never seen it up close." Eliza smiles. "Plus, Goodwitch thinks my analytical mind will be useful looking for discrepancies." She sends Theodore a chiding look. She doesn't add that she also thinks it would be nice for L'gaan, currently lying at her feet, to get a little exercise.
