Ruby was missing you more than ever, and what hurt the most was she couldn't help with your own funeral, like you always instructed. But legally, Ruby was not the one responsible for what happened after your death.
Your parents were.
The one thing she got was your diary, per your request. And that was where she discovered your deepest secrets you kept hidden until your death. Ruby sat in her room, her mother calling for her.
"Ruby! Dinnertime!"
She sighed, slamming your book shut then went downstairs to eat. "The l/n family invited you to her funeral, Miss lane said. Ruby blinked. "Really?" Miss Lane nodded."Yeah, you were her lover after all. only suitable that you show up."
Naturally, the thought of going to your funeral and remembering you would sting and Ruby wasn't sure of going at all. What made it annoying was she discovered via your diary you despised, no, hated your parents.
They made you miserable, so why were they doing all of this anyways?
"When is it? Ruby asked, curiously. "1:10 PM, Saturday, at the funeral home, Nurse Lane responded.
She sighed."I guess i'll go."

Your two siblings standing by Ruby, crying. She wore all black, like everyone else, and approached your coffin when she could.
