The Learning Experience

Aaliyah was so upset last night that she forgot to get her some clothes. She went home and heard her mom and dad talking. "Oh, I'm moving out." She said.

"Where are you going to go?" Bryon asked.

"That's none of your business, dad." She said as she went to the stairs. "You and Aria hurt this family. She kept your affair quiet as you came back here just to continue it."

"Aaliyah..."

"Shut up." She said as she went upstairs just to see Aria.

Aria went to say something, but Aaliyah just rolled her eyes as she went into her room. Aria leaned against the door and sighed. "I'm sorry. I knew, but I didn't want what is happening to happen."

"If you said something when you found out, which you should have said something then no one won't be having this much tension." She said.

Aria sighed as she watched her sister pack her bags and walk out of her room. "Mom! I'm gone to Ezra's."

"Okay."

Later that day, Aaliyah went to the school even though she was not supposed to be there. She walked to Ezra's room to see him reading. 'I got my things at the apartment." She tells him as she shut the door. "What are you doing tonight?"

"Was going to do some poetry reading at the bar. Want to come because I need to tell you something."

"Sure." She tells him as he kissed her. "I'm going to head back to the apartment. I'll see you then."

Ezra nodded as he watched her leave. He saw Aria stop her sister, but Aaliyah brushed it off. Aria walked up to him causing him to look at her. "Please get her to talk to me." She said. "I can't stand it when she's mad at me."

"I can try, but she is hurt by your decision to keep quiet about that." He tells her. "Go take your seat." She nodded. "Aria." She looked back at him. "I'm telling her about you and him."

Aria's eyes went big as she went to her seat. Ezra faced his students as he started teaching.

That night, Ezra looked Aaliyah as she was studying. "Hey." She looked at him. "I need to tell you something before they get here."

"They?"

"Jack and Aria."

"What about them and why is she coming here knowing that I'm upset with her."

"Their dating and will be on a date."

Aaliyah looked at him shocked. "Hey." She heard Jack and turned to see her sister with Jack.

"Are you insane?" Aria looked at her sister. "What is wrong with your head? You first hid the affair of dad's and now you are having a forbidden romance. Aria, please tell me what is going through that head of yours."

"I..."

"Ezra. Jack."

The sisters looked to see a guy standing there with his arm around Ezra's neck. Aaliyah looked at Ezra. "Hardy, I want you to meet my girlfriend, Aaliyah Montgomery."

"Hi." She said.

"The student who is having a learning experience for her class. I heard all about you." He said. "You were chosen as you have more potential."

"I hear that a lot." She looked at her sister then back to Ezra. "I need something strong to drink."

Ezra nodded as she went and ordered her a drink. He followed her causing Aria to be left with Hardy and Jack. "Aaliyah..."

"I'm sorry." She tells him. "I shouldn't have blowed up like that, but she never hides anything from me." Aaliyah sighed as she looked at him. "Can we go home?"

"Sure."

When they got home, Ezra opened the door to his apartment as he was in a heated make out session with Aaliyah. She took his jacket off as he took hers off. "Aaliyah."

"What?"

"Let's take this slow. I don't want it to be like it has been because I'm falling for you."

"Really?" Ezra nodded. "I want it to be real too."

"Come on." He said as he guided her to their room where they continue their night with love.
