Twelve

Aaliyah was shocked that her sister was in trouble with the police, but Ezra refuses to let Aaliyah stress out. The oldest Montgomery sat watching a movie as she was trying her best not to think about her sister and her friends. Ezra sat down beside Aaliyah causing her to put her back towards him to lay against him. "Still thinking about it."

"Why is my sister getting in trouble?" She asked. "Something is not adding up and I will tell her that if she needs someone to talk too, she can come to me."

"She won't because you are pregnant and she doesn't want anything happening to the twins."

Aaliyah smiled as she kissed him. "Thank you."

"Anything to keep you from stressing out."

At school, Aaliyah walked in to see Ezra and Jack talking to Jenna. She didn't say a word as she sat down and started going through her notes. Hearing the sound of a phone going off, she turned to see her sister. "Ezra, can we talk?"

"Sure." He said as he walked over to her. "What's wrong? Is something wrong with the babies?"

"No." She said. "I was thinking about date night."

Ezra smiled as he kissed her. "I have a meeting tonight." He tells her. "I'll be there a little late. I have to pick something up."

"That's fine. I'll probably be asleep by the time you get home." She tells him. "Like right now, I want a hot shower and to go to bed."

Ezra laughed as he kissed her head. "You didn't have to be here."

"But I came anyways." She tells him. "I love you, but you need to stop your worrying."

"I have rights to worry. You're pregnant and I want to take care of you."

Aaliyah smiled as she didn't know how she got so lucky. He looked at Aaliyah smiling as she was someone he wanted in his life. Now to ask her.

That night, Aaliyah was sleeping when Ezra came home. "Aaliyah." She stirred a bit to see Ezra with a ring in his hand. "Will you marry me?'

"That's a nice way to wake up too." She said as she raised up. "Why so sudden?"

"Because I want us to be more of a family." He says. "These months have been the best and one day, I want to marry you."

Aaliyah kissed him. "Yes." She tells him. "I love you so much."

"I love you too."

I'm so sorry about earlier. I never realized when I was working on a chapter thirteen in another book that I was still on this one. When I published it, I immediately took it down because it was the wrong book and didn't want no confusion. I hope you guys enjoy this short chapter. Till next Tuesday.
