Fifteen

Aaliyah smiled as she was working on their application for the house loan. "Hey." She heard and looked at Ezra. "I brought some food."

"Yummy." She tells him. "I have the application for the loan almost completed if you want to look over it."

Ezra nodded. "Why don't you go eat and I'll look over this."

Aaliyah nodded as she went to get the table set up to hear a knock. She looked at Ezra as he looked at her. She shrugged as she continued working on setting the table. "A cop came by my apartment asking questions." She heard Jack say.

The pregnant burnette turned and looked at her sister's boyfriend wondering what this was all about and why was the cop suddenly at his apartment. "I have a very bad feeling someone told."

"Same." Jack says. "Can I join you guys?"

"Sure." Ezra says.

Aaliyah nodded as she walked over. "Come in and tell us what the cop was asking you about."

Jack nodded as Ezra shut the door. Ezra kissed Aaliyah causing her to smile as they went to the table and sat down as Jack started to talk about why the cop was asking him questions.

Aaliyah and Ezra smiled as they turned their resignation in and Jack did too. All three got a job at Hollis. "Baby, you and I need to go to the appointment before your father's mixer."

"I forgot about that." She says kissing him. "Let's go check on the twins."

Ezra grabbed her hand as they walked out seeing Aria on the phone. The two shared a look, but Aaliyah wasn't going to stress out over that. She had other things to worry about. Her twins and her new job.

Aria looked at them and wondered where they were going.

The next day of the mixer, Aaliyah and Ezra walked in. "Hi, daddy."

"There's my baby girl." He says hugging her. "How did the appointment go?"

"Good and we have some news." She tells him as Bryon looked at the couple in front of him. "We got the job at Hollis."

Bryon hugged them happy about that. "That's good news." He tells him. "So, how's the twins."

"They're good and Aaliyah is excited because the twins will be here before our wedding."

"You set the date?"

"Yes. It gives us plenty of time to figure everything out and when the twins are born, I can start getting fitted for my dress."

Ella walked over to them smiling. "I came to steal my oldest. We have a lot to talk about."

Aaliyah whinned causing Ezra to laugh as he watched the mother daughter duo walk over to some people to talk. He saw how the falcuty members talked to Aaliyah and how they were congratulating Aalyiah. She walked over to him and grabbed his hand not seeing her sister or the one person that Jack nor Aria was expecting to see. Jackie.

"Where are we going?" Ezra asked.

"To my old room." She tells him as she guided him upstairs.

Walking into her room, Ezra saw how big it was. "I'm sure we could live here."

Aaliyah laughed. "You won't get your privacy." She tells him as she shut the door and locked it.

"So why did you bring me up here?"

"I wanted sometime with the love of my life. By ourselves."

Ezra leaned in and kissed Aaliyah. Wrapping her arms around him, Aaliyah walked backwards without breaking the kiss to her bed. "Baby..."

"Dad and mom knows not to enter. Plus, there was never a key." She tells him. "Please."

Ezra closed his eyes and leaned in to kiss her. Aaliyah unbuttoned his pants and unzipped them to pull them down. Ezra laughed as they started taking one anothers clothes off. Aaliyah moaned as she pulled Ezra's head down to kiss her so they wouldn't make too much noise.

After their little session, Aaliyah and Ezra walked out to see a woman walking up to them. "Hello, Ezra."

"Jackie, does Jack know..."

"He's avoiding me." She tells him. "So this is the lucky girl who stolen this man's heart."

"Aaliyah."

"Jackie. You know, Ezra wasn't like all the men in college. Neither was Jack. That's why I fell for Jack."

"I'm sorry, but Ezra and I don't want nothing to do with the drama I know is about to start." She tells her. "I would like to know you, but I will not be involved if something happens. I'm pregnant and am focusing on the twins."

Jackie nodded as Ezra guided his fiancé downstairs. "Aria won't like that a bit."

"Nope." Aaliyah says. "Drama is about to start all over again and this time. I don't want anything to do with it."

"Good." He says. "Let's get you a water and some food."

Aaliyah smiled at the idea of food causing her to walk with Ezra. Aria saw her sister and Ezra wishing she could have a relationship where there was honesty in it. Not lies, no hiding, and no ex showing up out of the blue. A simply life like Aaliyah has.
