The Learning Experience

One

After a year of being gone and the disappearance of her sister's friend, Aaliyah drove through her hometown back to her old house. Aria smiled as she saw her sister pull in. "She made it." Ella said as her eldest got out.

Mike ran and hugged his sister making her laugh. "I had to get gas." She tells him. "I wasn't that far behind."

"Have you spoken to the principal?" Ella asked as Aaliyah nodded.

"Dad took care of that and tomorrow, I will be in Aria's English class. "

"Nice."

"I'm not helping you." She said as they walked inside.

Aria smiled as she was excited to have her sister be at school with her. Aaliyah walked downstairs. "Aaliyah, I need you to take Mike to his soccer practice." Ella tells her. "Also take Aria with you."

Aaliyah looked at her sister and nodded as they walked out with Mike behind them. Aaliyah decided while she's out, she will hit the bar. "I know what your thinking and I'm going with you." Aria said as her sister gave her a look.

After dropping Mike off, Aaliyah and Aria went to the bar like promised. Aria watched her sister order her a glass of wine. Aaliyah smiled as she walked to Aria. "You do know that I'm not getting you out of trouble when you get into it."

"I know."

"Hello."

Aaliyah looked up to see a handsome guy. Well two, but she was focused on the one holding wine. "Mind if we join you two?"

"No." Aaliyah said. "I'm Aaliyah and this is my little sister Aria."

Aria playfully glared at her sister. "Let's leave them alone."

Aria left with the other guy. "I'm Ezra and that is Jake."

"It's nice to meet you."

"Care for another glass of wine?"

"No, but I would like company since my sister ditched."

Ezra nodded as they started talking. They both learned that one was a teacher and the other is an assistant for her class. He liked that she was a college student because he wouldn't get in trouble for what he was about to do. Taking her hand, Ezra lead Aaliyah to another room where they could be alone.

They started kissing as soon as they got to the door. Once inside, Aaliyah was picked up and placed on the sink as she moaned. Ezra covered her mouth as to keep her quiet so they wouldn't get caught.

The next day, Aaliyah walked into the school and smiled. "Miss. Montgomery, follow me and I'll introduce you to the teacher you will be working with."

Aaliyah nodded as she walked the halls. She saw two of her sister friends, but she was surprised with how they didn't look at one another. The bell rang causing her to look at the principal as he smiled. "He agreed to let you help him."

"Who is he?"

The principal opened the door. "Mr. Fitz, I have Miss. Montgomery to assist you."

Aaliyah gasped as he looked at her as Jake walked in. "Holy crap."

"Shit." She heard Jake say making her look at him then to her sister who just smiled at her.

Ezra saw the looks on his students. "Miss. Montgomery is here to observe. Hollis is allowing their future teacher students to observe teachers." He said. "You can take my seat while I teach."

Aaliyah nodded as she sat down. She pulled her notebook out as he started teaching. Aria would notice how her sister and Ezra would share a look, but the message from Alison or who she thinks it is still haunts her.

After everyone left, Aaliyah looked at Ezra who shut his door. "Why didn't you tell me you would be here?"

"Dad's idea. I didn't know you were teaching here." She said as she walked over to him. "Um...can we continue from the other day? I would like to know you better."

Ezra smiled and nodded. "I think that's a good idea. Now, let's see the notes you have."

Aaliyah laughed. "I actually stopped because I have to think of how to rewrite what I have."

Ezra grabbed her notebook and read what she has. "I thinks it's good. Next class is about to start if you want to see your sister."

"I'm fine where I'm at."

The next few days went by slowly. Alison was found, but not alive. Aaliyah stood in her black dress as she stared in the mirror. Ella walked in and wrapped her arms around her. "What's wrong?"

"Alison's dead, but what bothers me is that she's the same age as Aria. The thought of her dying bothers me." She tells her.

"I know, but we both know that Aria is alive and well." Ella said. "Let's go to the funeral."

Aaliyah nodded as she got a text. She looked to see it was from Ezra. She smiled as she knew that them continuing was the best thing to ever happen to them. "Aaliyah, let's go."

"Okay." She said smiling at the text. "Let's go."
