I have rarely seen someone draw a candy can like this, but I thought it'd be funny.
For those of you who might not have caught onto it, physically, Gold is significantly older than the rest of the anthros. He's the only one who's been aging normally since the beginning of book 1 in the AU. Thankfully, thought, he doesn't look old enough to be Freddy's father. That would result in very awkward interactions with strangers, trust me.
*mild spoilers for book 5*
And then following what happened at the circus, Gold has been walking with a cane ever since. (A bear his age wasn't meant to be performing crazy stunts like that anymore.)
Also, no, he doesn't go around with one eye darkened. He has only recently let his eyes be their normal appearance after several years, and they only go dark like that when he's highly stressed, in a stressed situation, or when he's angry and when bad things, that are out of his control, happen.
And, his eyes being dark like that for so long may or may not have attributed to his decreasing eyesight-
