It's funny where inspiration comes from. The idea for this came to me while I wrote the Epilogue of Once a Dancer. Gus ever so briefly made mention of Francine, and my brain then went "This is what we're gonna do now-"

So yeah. Two of the sweetest teddies in town. I have now decided that Gus and Fritz live close by Francine and her parents' home, and I have a little HC to go with this.
Let's just go with; Gus was on a walk one day and noticed the front yard part of Francine's flower garden and thought it was pretty. He then one day spotted Flo outside weeding said garden and decided to say 'hello' and introduce himself. The two sort of kicked it off, and now Gus will at random times ask Flo about any flower questions that come to him. Really, he just likes hanging out with her because he think's she's super nice.
And yes, Francine does have a 'flower journal'. What else was she supposed to do in her free time, growing up separated from her older brothers for all those years? That thing was probably one of the hobbies to help soothe herself on bad days, really. (She has since filled other journals, but the one in the drawing is the OG and holds great sentimental value).
