I have been working on this since the morning after SB dropped.
My top two all-time favorite video game/literally any media characters; Oscar from the Syberia franchise, and Glamrock Freddy from—I don't even need to name the game.
So, I think I'm now able to put into words why Oscar—and now also Glam—are my favorite characters; They are wholesome robot characters doing their best to help you out. That's it. Oh, and they also both have moments of—to put this lightly—unsolicited poor treatment from humans. (I'm not gonna spoil anything, don't worry-)
I'm gonna include some headcanons below. Jysk, the 'headcanons' for the Glam Teddy are more of, "This was my read on little details in the game that may or may not be correct ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"
Some of my input on the art. Yes, that is a self portrait of me between my two bois. Also, I think I may have actually drawn myself too short, as my rusty boi Oscar is average height compared to humans. Oops-

Headcanonz:
Oscar:
-The dark lenses for his goggles have a green tint/Oscar looks handsome in the color green UwU
-Given the proper tools, Oscar is able to perform minor repairs on himself
-Because he hasn't been programmed to feel distress/anguish/upsetness, his only human companion always acts a little more light-hearted and happy around him. In turn, that actually lifts his companions spirits when she isn't feel great
Glamrock Freddy:
(Saw this on a poster thing in the game somewhere)
[I think] He is programmed to administer basic first aid-
He doesn't like seeing others in pain-
(Back to point 1) If a child has suffered a small injury and he ends up treating it, he'll sing to the- child to try and cheer them up if they're crying—before then after giving them a treat as a reward for being brave.
