I walked slowly down the hallway making sure I made no noise. If he were to wake up that would've been bad. Just to my luck though the house was old and one wrong step could result in a loud cracking noise. I slowly made my way to the living room. Once I saw the door I eached my small hand up and opened the door. The moonlight shined down on my face. It was a clear night and I could see the stars. I walked outside and sat down on the porch. I looked around until I finally saw it.

A kitten. He noticed me and ran over to me. I jumped down the porch and kneeled down to pet it. I reached into my pocket and pulled out the piece of food I had saved from earlier when I was fed. I held it out. He sniffed and and began to devour it. I pet his soft fur running my fingers through it. He mowed. I stood up he rubbed himself on my foot. He was probably thirsty. I turned around and pulled myself up on the porch. I heard the wood creak. I looked up and saw him standing at the entrance of the door. He had a cigarette in his mouth.

"What the fuck are you doing outside in the middle of the night" I stayed silent. He walked closer. "Are you trying to let in the cold and have your mother get even more sick. Is that what you're fucking planning." I took this as my chance to run. I turned around an as I was about to jump off the porch he grabbed my arm. I was wearing a camisole and shorts leaving my back a bit exposed. He held me in the air as if I was a rag doll. "If you want to cause your other more pain than you already do I'll cause you pain. He grabbed the ciggarete out of his mouth and pushed it against my skin.

I let out a loud cry while desperately failing around. I tried to use my legs to kick him but he was too far away from me. Suddenly I heard him yell "SHIT" I looked down to see the kitten had scracthed his leg and ran away. I smiled. Suddenly I felt myself get lifted up higher. Before I knew it I was in the air heading toward the other side of our small yard. I was met with the ground. I opened my eyes to see I had landed on a rock. I sat up and grabbed my torso in pain I eld my hand out and was faced with blood.

I sat up in bed. And my hand flew to my torso. The stitches were still there but I had wrapped them to prevent any bleeding. I rubbed my head, I need to find him already. That man who I would never in a million years consider my father. No father does that to their child. He deserves to feel the pain I did. I stood up and walked over to the bathroom. I took off my shirt and began bandaging my torso. I looked in the mirror and saw the stitches were still in place. I gotta say Dabi did a pretty good job. My mind flashed to the night before. His warm hand on my waist was comforting as much as I hate to admit it. I shook my head clearning my thoughts. I don't have time for this. I turend on the shower and got ready for the day.

I walked in from the front door and was stopped by a lady "Ma'am you can't come in through here" she must be new. "Don't worry he's expecting me" she tried to grab me but her hand went through me. I turned the corner and made my way to his room. I pulled it open with force. He sat again infornt of his renju board. Does this man have any other hobbies. I reached into my back pocket and grabbed the gun. I threw it on the floor infront of him.

"I heard there were a few complications on your side"

"I killed the boss and the ones with experince. If Hotari couldn't handle himself thats on him. I sent the weak ones outside."

"He's not very happy" I grinded my teeth.

"HE'S NOT HAPPY?" I chuckled and picked up my shirt putting my giant cut on show. "Those punks didn't do this. Hotari did. Don't EVER ask me to work with him again." he stayed silent. "You know what I'm taking my vacation so here" I pulled my work phone out of my pocket and threw it on the ground aside the gun. "Don't try and contact me even if the organization is its a big job I don't care I'm off the grid until next week" I turned around and began to walk away

"There was a development" I kept on walking

"Like I said I don't care"

"It's about your father" I stopped in my tracks

"That man will never be my father"

"We got word he's back in the country" I turned around now that he had my attention "He's in Tsukaba" I began to walk away. "Rin" I paused "I know he wasn't the best to you but are you sure you want to kill him. I know you only take jobs where the targets are guilty of murder but he hasn't killed anyone"

"He killed me" I didn't bother to turn around. I walked out of his room thinking to myself. Can I do it. Can I actually kill him after all these years will I be able to go through with it. But after this there's no going back. I'm not innocent now, I never was to start with. I've let an innocent person die when I could've saved her. But I haven't killed anyone innocent with my own hands not yet anyway. I didn't want to, I didn't want anymore blood on my hands.

I sat at the bar moving my cup around letting the ice bounce on the sides of the cup. I held it up to my mouth and took a drink. It was only 6:50 but I had come a little earlier I needed a drink. It felt stuffy and I wasn't particularly having it.
"Kento you mind if I go up on the roof it feels a little stuffy in here"

"Go right on ahead sweetheart" I had been coming to his bar for years now and he was the best bartender I'd met always had the best alcohol on hand I obviously had to make friends with him.

"Thanks!" i stood up from the stool "Oh and before I forget someone was going to meet me here can you tell them I'm on the roof"

"Sure, what do they look like?"

"Hmm like if you let your bacon on the stove for a little too long" I smiled "You'll see what I mean" I waved goodbye and made my way up stairs. I opened the door and was met with the fresh afternoon air it was crisp. I made mt way over to the metal ledge and leaned against it. The sun was just about to set and the sky rained with colors. I lifted the cup to my lips and took a sip. Moments like these make me glad I stuck around. My life is not what I want to it to be but I have to make the best of it. And eventually I'll leave the country once I work around the system. As of now there's only one thing on my mind and it's getting that scum off the face of the earth. I shouldn't be wasting my time here. I sighed.

It had been 30 minutes and he hadn't shown up. I didn't have time to waste and I wasn't going to wait along any longer. I lifted the glass to my lips and took the last drop of alcohol into my mouth. I walked over to the door and swung it open jogging down the stairs. I walked over to the bar leaving money and the cup.

"Leaving so soon" the bartender asked.

"Yeah I gave them a time and they're not here and I got things to do" I looked at my phone it was 7:25.

"Want to leave a message in case they come by" the bartender asked. He grabbed a pen and paper and passed it to me. I thought for a second.

"No it's fine. Thank you though. I'll come by next week per usual!" I said as I walked out the door. He tipped his invisible hat. Why would I leave that piece of jerky a message we have no reason to meet. He didn't show up today that was enough to know he was just going to waste my time. Either way I don't have time to be making aqutances. But from the looks of it he didn't seem to want to be my friend. So was it just coincidence that we met three times? The villan world is small but not that small. I shook the thoughts out of my head. I didn't have time for this. I walked to my apartment that was a few blocks down.

Once I reached my apartments parking lot I walked over to my bike and pulled my backpack from where I had secured it on the side of my bike and put it on. It was a Kawaski Ninja I had just bought it. I grabbed my helmet and turned on the engine and kicked up the foot. I backed up the biked and made my way.

After a while driving I finally made it to Tsukuba. I made my way to the hotel Mori's assistant had texted me. It was high end. How could he afford this? I know he got my mothers insurance money but I know she didn't work much so there was no way it could've been more than to last a few months. Had he found a job in the states? I looked around and saw I was a block away that should be close enough. I parked my bike in an ally. I saw a fire escape and climbed my way up to the roof. I walked over to the edge and opened my backpack pulling out my binoculars. I looked through them and aimed at the hotel. I had a perfect view of the entrance. Now to play the wait game.
