And tell you about a band I've become enamoured by
How their musings fill my ears with golden honey
How they strum their guitars as if they are the first mortals to ever hear the lulls of Apollo's lyre

Our blood burns the same
Our hearts beat in unity
Our breathing doesn't replicate concrete like it usually does
Our eyes reflect this small fragment of normalcy
Of what this relationship is supposed to look like
I bottle it up
tuck it under my skin
And feel it mingle with
Dozens upon dozens
of atoms-ken m
