Welcome ladies and gentlemen and nonbinary pals, to another one of the rewrites I have been working on. I hope you all are alright.

I decided that I will decrease the songs in the first one, the others will have more.

I have been thinking to open requests once more. I will inform you, if I do it or not.

I hope you enjoy it, if you by whatever means do, I would be thankful if you could share, vote, and comment your feedback. Thanks!

Concert pt2

Among the midst of chaos, it was clear that the most hearable answer was 'Call You Mine'. It took a few before the shouting went silent.

"So, we can all agree that we all heard 'Call You Mine'?" Jay asked the crowd, who in agreement, cheered. "So, I want you to imagine a timeline, right? The first part of the timeline is early romance, the second one is right before the breakup. The third one is the right after part, and the last one is well after. So, this one is placed in the first part. Again, none of these songs are accurate. Sometimes none of the songs contain what really happened at the time. The song in itself explains, how we were just two kids who were basically in 'Love'." He explained, putting quotation marks around the word love. "Can we get one for 'Call You Mine'" The crowd clapped.

Here you go a link to it (Sorry if it doesn't work, it is very buggy):

As the clapping went down, the light lighting up the stage went out. As the song started slowly playing, the more the brightness of the lights went up. There stood Jay, absolutely petrified. Jay started singing.

Two kids with their hearts on fire
Who's gonna save us now?
When we thought that we couldn't get higher
Things started looking down
I look at you and you look at me
Like nothing but strangers now
Two kids with their hearts on fire
Don't let it burn us out

The more Jay started to sing, the more confident he became. He started to move from his frozen position. He started kind of dancing, because he really didn't know how to dance properly. The singer started to remember what Cole had said to him in the makeup room. It gave him more drive to go for it.

Think about what you believe in now
Am I someone you cannot live without?
'Cause I know I don't wanna live without you, yeah
Come on, let's turn this all around
Bring it all back to that bar downtown
When you wouldn't let me walk out on you, yeah

You said, "Hey, what you doing for the rest of your life?"
And I said, "I don't even know what I'm doing tonight"
Went from one conversation to your lips on mine
And you said, "I never regretted the day that I called you mine"
So I called you mine (ooh, ah, ooh)
Can I call you mine? (Ooh)
And you said, "I never regretted the day that I called you mine"

Jay remembered their first date. It was an absolute disaster, snakes everywhere, her getting kidnapped, and him turning into a serpentine. He couldn't help but feel relieved that nobody had interrupted his song by saying things like 'Bad songs' or 'Why is this guy even singing'.

Broke kids running through the city
Drunk on the subway train
Set free every time you kissed me
We couldn't feel no pain
You looked at me and I looked at you
Like we'd never look away
Broke kids running through the city
Don't let the memory fade

As he said at the beginning this verse wasn't really true, except the fact that at the time he couldn't feel pain and that he was drunk. One night they all went out drinking for her birthday, and the only one that was drunk were him and her. The others told him that they could barely keep them apart.

Think about what you believe in now
Am I someone you cannot live without?
'Cause I know I don't wanna live without you, yeah
Come on, let's turn this all around
Bring it all back to that bar downtown
When you wouldn't let me walk out on you, yeah

Unfortunately, the answer to that question was an easy yes. He was so naïve, he was a mere person who hadn't experienced real pain before the experience. Jay regretted letting her go, but at the same time, it made him feel free.

You said, "Hey, what you doing for the rest of your life?"
And I said, "I don't even know what I'm doing tonight"
Went from one conversation to your lips on mine
And you said, "I never regretted the day that I called you mine"
So I called you mine (ooh)
And you said, "I never regretted the day that I called you mine"
Can I call you mine? (Ooh, ah, ooh)

Can I call you mine? (Ooh, ah, ooh)
Can I call you mine? (Ooh, ah, ooh)
Can I call you mine?

As he finished the last verse, the silence was deafening. Just two seconds later applauses were heard, that could in fact make the ground shake. The fact that they were clapping for him, was simply hard to believe. He was so happy.
