Sleeping (Post Season 12)

Hewwooo Ladies and Gentlemen and Nonbinary Pals, I am back with another oneshot for you.

It is in fact not a long one but a rather short one.

Now, I am still keeping the poll up, but I will update it so you can only vote for the other ones.

Also, I had an idea. Since I loved the way I wrote 'Not Found' Jay, I will make some oneshots where you can imagine the normal one and the Not Found one. There will be certain oneshots where the only one is the 'Not Found' one but you don't have to worry because that would only happen like once or twice. Indicators: (NF!Jaya, C!Jaya)

Without further ado, let me present you Sleeping!

Sorry for not uploading. I've been writing the Hanahaki one and got lost in it. And this is just a little oneshot, nothing too big.

Sleeping

It was a quiet night in Ninjago. There was no big villain planning something malicious or any break-ins happening. It was just in a way, peaceful, too peaceful, but that didn't matter.

Jay looked up from the book he has been reading for quite some time now, The Hunger Games, to look at the clock. 11 PM. He sighed. He looked to his left and saw Nya fast asleep.

She had insisted that she slept with him when they first came back from Prime Empire. In his opinion, it was more than unnecessary but there was no place for an argument as shown on Nya's face.

Sudden tiredness came over him as he yawned. He placed his bookmark to where he ended his session of reading and went to place his book on his nightstand when he heard something.

Moaning...? He placed the book down and looked over to his left. There Nya was with a scrunched nose and open mouth.

"Jay..." The mumble was there again, except it wasn't the usual nightmare-type mumble or moan. The thing is that it sounded like bliss, which could only mean one thing. A look of disbelief and a smile of mischievousness appeared on his face. (NO, DON'T WORRY, I KNOW HOW IT SOUNDSDASDASD)

He started to shake her awake. For the life of her, she didn't want to wake up and only kept groaning. He finally had enough and woke her up with his powers.

She sprung awake her hair falling out of her face. She turned to her right and glared at him for waking her.

"I was sleeping." One loose hair strand fell over her face as she was lightly glaring at him.

"You could say that you were enjoying your sleep, no?" He smirked at her and a slight blush appeared on her cheeks.

She lightly punched his shoulder and asked, "Why did you wake me?"

Jay's smirk grew bigger if that was even possible. "Well first, I don't think you would want to do extra laundry in the morning, second, I would be able to sleep, and third, well..." He trailed off, "I think you should save it for tomorrow." He at that moment turned away and faced the other way and turned off the light. "Good night Nya." He closed his eyes and started to drift off to sleep.

Nya was still frozen elbow propping her up. She sighed and laid back down. "Good night, Jay." She softly whispered but didn't close her eyes to sleep.

If she was awake for a couple of minutes unable to sleep, she didn't tell anyone. Besides, who would even know what she was thinking about?

Again sorry for the big break and that this is a little short. Wanted to try this 'format', but I just don't like it. Don't worry, the next ones should be the normal, longer ones. The Hanahaki disease is the next.

I still do need to make the cover and I am probably going to post the chapters to it in specific times. I am also going to pre-write it. I want the book's chapters to be consistent. No plus waiting for the chapter.

Should be very interesting, so keep your eyes peeled.
