Temptress

Chapter 3

Indigo still rested against his body asleep. 'Xaio' He called quietly, to not disturb her. Xaio appeared in front of the resting girl and looked perplexed never had he seen Morax be so emotionally venerable with anyone before. Morax started to speak 'Could you go find some clothes for her and possibly some food.' The adeptus nodded silently left the room. The geo archon looked down and the sleeping girl, trying to work out what was happening with her. Careful not to disturb her he pulled her off him and stood up. Leaving her resting on the ground he teleported to mond. It was one of his great powers of being an archon. 

He searched mond high and low for barbatos, but the geo archon couldn't find him anywhere. He sighed and walked into the tavern he had been to many years ago, before and with just his luck there sat the bard he had spent the last hour in search of. Obviously drunk the bard lept up from the group of people he was sitting with to great the taller male. 'Is it really you?' He asked slurring his words together. Morax simply nodded in reply. 'Look, I'm not here for a catch up and a drink i need to ask a favour.' He said sternly, putting aside his hatred of the bard for her. 'Oh, give me two minutes I will meet you outside' The bard replied almost hurt by his words. Morax left the tavern and waited outside for the bard. 

Barbatos exited the tavern and walked over to Morax, 'So, what do I owe the pleasure' The bard asked, intrigued of why the geo archon would appear in mond after all these years. 'There is a girl coming to mond tomorrow, I need you to watch over her for me.' He said summoning a piece of geo in his hand and spinning it around.' The bard started to speak in reply 'Her? The one the wind has been warning me about, my such a dangerous task. Why do you ask this of me?' The words that spilled out of the drunks' mouth seemed to have a deeper meaning but the geo archon did not have time for his games. 'I am warning you now Barbatos, you no longer have a gnosis, I can kill you if I want, Do not let this girl come in harms way.' His words were like salt in a wound, they were bitter and stung. The geo archon then teleported back to the inn, leaving the bard perplexed and startled. 

Morax returned to the girl who was still sleeping, Xaio had left a neatly stacked pile of clothes next to the girl and a bowl of cold almond tofu. The geo archon took pity on her, he had no idea what she was going through, but her couldn't ignore the signs that something was deeply wrong with her. 

Indigo quietly awoke to the staring archon. She stretched her arms and rubbed her eyes. 'i must leave now' She said standing up. 'Here' Morax said handing her the clothes that had been neatly folded. 'They're better suited for travelling, I'll leave you to get dressed.' She pursed her lips 'Wait, I usually have a maid or two to help me get dressed I cant take this dress off on my own'  'I could get a female worker for you if you like.?' He asked. 'No morax you'll do fine it's just a corset and some buttons.' 

He hesitantly walked towards her, she pulled her hair over her shoulder exposing her back. Morax's hands trembled lightly as he undid the ribbons that held her corset together. Once undone he carefully discarded it to the floor. He then started on the buttons he gently fumbled with the buttons that ran from her neck to her lower back. Once all of them were undone he turned to leave, only once again being stopped by Indigo. She grabbed his hand and stood on her tip toes and kissed him on the cheek. 'That was a thank you, you can leave, that is if you don't want to stay' She said, smirking lightly as she turned away from him and began to finish getting changed. Morax quickly covered his eyes and left the room. 

The clothes were nothing eye turning, which she was not used to, but it was what she was looking for. They consisted of a pair of brown pants and a white shirt. There was no skirt now so she had to find a different place to hide her vision. She knew a lot of treasure hoarders hung around the boarders, so she had to wear it for safety, but treasure hoarders would also target her for having a vision. She was going to have to ask Morax for help. She left her hair down and stepped outside. 

Morax stood lent against the wall waiting for her to come out.  She held the glowing vision in her hand. It had no regional casing, it was jus the illuminated ore. 'I need to ask a favour,' Indigo said. 'But I want no questions asked.' A smile made its way across the geo archons lips. 'You'll have to owe me'  She laughed in reply to his question. 'I need you to make me one of those liyue vision cases.' He nodded and one appeared in his hand. He held it out to her. 'Thank you!' she said ecstatically. Carefully she pressed her vision in to its case. 

'I must depart now' She said. 'It's dark out can't you wait until morning?' Morax asked. 'No I've already been delayed I cannot afford to lose more time.' She looked up at Morax. 'If i were to write to you who and where would I address the letter to?' A twinkle appeared in Morax's eyes. 'Zhongli, at the funeral parlour.' 'Well then Zhongli, it was nice to see you. Expect a letter from me!' She said as she ran off into the night. 

She continued on the last part of her journey to Mond. The fatui had given her some money to rent a house for a little while but ultimately she was going to need a job. Ajax had said that Barbatos tends to frequent bars a lot maybe she could be a bar maid. She did know one of the owners of angels share. What was his name again... Crepus. Maybe she could go and speak to him. 

She taken a bit of a detour and had ended up in wolvendom. She sat by the water and looked at her reflection. She wasn't sure how fast word travelled between Liyue and Mond but she didn't want to be tied to the suspicious girl in a ball gown walking around with a Harbinger, that wasn't a good look if she was trying to go under cover. She picked up her sword and sliced half of her hair off. Instead of going down her back it now sat nicely at a shoulder length. She then went searching for a boar. Boar blood was an efficient hair dye if mixed with Wolfhooks, which was perfect since she was in wolvendom. She found a herd of boars, she picked one out and sliced into it. She had to act quick. She found an artery and carefully sliced it. Coating her hands in boar blood and then coating her hair. once her hair was fully covered in boar blood she wondered around trying to find some wolfhooks, whilst being cautious to not run into anyone. Finally she finds some and adds it to her hair. She makes a treck back down to the lake bank. 

She sat on the sand her feet nearing the waters edge, staring of at the city. Soon the time came for her to wash her hair out. Once she had washed it out it became sort of a dark auburn colour. She gazed into her refection in the water, pondering on what to do next. She stood up and dusted her self off and made off for Mond.

I accidently wrote the next chapter twice ;;( whoops. is anyone even reading these lolz. I read it to my brother and he really wants to see klee so i guess shes coming soon.
