I sighed as I stepped into the shower. The hot water relaxing my muscles after a stressful day at work. Cyberlife has been under a lot of pressure they got the first report that an android attacked its owner. That has never happened before. Therefore, I'm under a lot of pressure.

All androids use my programming code, and somehow the code is failing. It was working just fine until a few weeks ago. Is it possible that the android is smart enough to break the program? No that would require it knows there is one in the first place. Is it something with the biocomponents? There were so many questions but too little answers.

I let out a deep breath and grabbed my shampoo. I let the water run over my head as I squeezed a few ounces into my hand. I massaged the shampoo into my hair. I felt more relaxed by the second until I felt hands at my hip.

I turned around startled to find Hyram smiling at me. His dirty blonde hair was already dripping with water. His light brown eyes moved slowly up and down my naked body before looking into mine. He pulled me close by the waist and kissed me gently.

"How about we go out to dinner tonight? Besa? I've heard great things about the food," he said running his fingers through my soapy hair.

"Isn't that the fancy restaurant in Hart Plaza? Why there? We can get Chinese or pizza. God I could go for Brooklyn style cheese slice right now." I giggle and rinse the shampoo from my hair.

"Let's go to Besa. Change it up a bit."

I gave in with a sigh, "Fine, but I still want pizza. Maybe a late night snack?" I gave him the largest puppy dog eyes I could muster.

"Okay." Hyram kissed my forehead and grabbed his bar of soap and began to wash his body. As he did so I couldn't stop myself from looking at every inch of him. It was like he was sculpted by the gods themselves. Maybe he was a little too perfect. I certainly felt like an imposter standing next to him. He was a model after all, and I was just some scientist that he met at one of Carl Manfred's art shows when I presented Carl with his new android Markus that was a personal gift from Elijah Kamski.

Hyram was incredibly charming that night though. He at least tried to understand what it is that I do. We talked all night. Him about the places his modeling career has taken him, and I about these amazing creations that I had the chance analyze and study every day. Eventually he asked me out on our first date. We went to a basketball game and then to dinner. I didn't care much for basketball, but he just so happened to have tickets so that was fine, but it was the dinner that really showed me that not all models are complete airheads. He came with questions about androids, my work in connection to them, and about Kamski. Honestly Mr. Kamski is an enigma to myself as much as he his to the rest of the world.

"What is it?" Hyram asked cocking his head to the side.

"Remember our first date?"

Hyram huffed. "Yeah, some over enthusiastic fans spilled popcorn all over us. It was a struggle getting those cornels out of those beautiful curly locks of yours, but I liked it. It gave me an excuse to get closer to you."

I laughed at the memory. I had completely forgotten about that. "Let's not forget the soda that was thrown in you face when you confronted them about it."

"I wish I could forget that. I nearly had to fight the bastards."

"The horror that would have been," I said mockingly. It has been almost 2 years since that day.

"Come on, let's finish washing up before we both turn into prunes." Hyram turned me around and washed my back as I finished washing the other parts of my body. Once we were finished we turned the water off and stepped out of the shower.
