"So, Emily, what can you bring to this team?" Steve says and everyone quiets down and looks at her.
"Well, um- I can be a great fighter if I train a little more." She says as she looks at him with a straight face.
"So you're not a good fighter is what I'm hearing?" Steve retorts back with, as he crosses his arms.
"Steve! She has potential! I once saw her training, she can be a great asset to our team, plus, she learns quickly too." Natasha snaps at him glaring daggers at him.
"Well I guess we will have to see tomorrow. Everyone is training. 9AM. Sharp." He states as he stands up.
"Thanks for asking if we all have plans Cap," Tony looks at him with a quizzical 'what the heck' kind of look.
"Do you?"
"No, thank you for asking." Tony says all innocently with a smile. Everyone agrees that they are available and Steve nods his head.
"Great, problem solved then." Steve states as he pushes away from the table.
Bucky leans over to Emily with a half smile and whispers, "Don't worry, he's always like this, you get used to it after awhile."
"Thanks for the warning Buck." She smiles at him and giggles. He smiles and continues to eat, as does everyone else.
"Hey Emily, we should go to the store and buy some stuff for your new room so you can get comfortable." Natasha suggests and Emily smiles with a nod.
"Let's do it, but we can't do it tomorrow, we have a party to get ready for." Wanda buts in while she wipes her mouth.
"Oh that's right, the party, did we get to tell you about it Emily?" Tony asks and she smiles nodding her head to her side.
"Bucky told me before dinner." You informed and Tony nodded his head in response with a quick 'good'. When people start to finish Emily quickly gets up and begins to collect the others plates, they all look at her a bit shocked and she looks back at them all confused. "What? Why are you guys looking at me like that?"
"Usually we all have a huge argument over who is going to do the dishes." Thor jets in and glances around.
"Oh really? Well I don't mind doing it."
"Yes it gets very annoying most of the time," Sam butts in with a sigh and looks at the others.
"That's because you lose every time." Bucky smirks as he looks at Sam.
"Because you all are always against me!"
"Well I'll take care of it dont worry..." Emily states, beginning to clear off the table. The others don't argue as she starts, only Bucky stays behind and looks at her. "Yes Bucky? You can go now, I don't need to dismiss you to go?" She states with a chuckle.
"I was seeing if you needed some help cleaning up the dishes?" Bucky asked as he started to pick up a plate but Emily slaps his hand lightly and he retracts his hand back.
"Thank you Buck but I can handle a couple dishes. Don't disobey and run along." She smirks to him and walks to the kitchen as Bucky smiles and follows her.
"Are you sure you know how to use the dishwasher?" Bucky asked as he leaned on the door frame. Emily looks back at him, one eyebrow quirked upward.
"Hold on, first off, it's pretty late. I was planning to wash these by hand so it wouldn't be too loud. And secondly, I know how to use it, I'm not an over 100 year old man from a different century." She looks at him and he holds his chest looking mildly offended. She smiles and he chuckles.
"Did you just call me old?"
"I mean I didn't not say it?" She smirks at him.
"Alright, okay. I won't help you then." He says as he starts to back away before Emily cuts him off.
"Wait, I'm not going to refuse the company though?" She insisted with a small smile.
"Hmm, let me think.... Yeah okay I'll stay longer." He says as he rubs his chin, she laughs and throws a dish towel at him and they finish working on the dishes.
