Two weeks have gone by, the sky is a bright blue out, the sun is already up as an alarm is blaring in Emily's room. She wakes up and looks over to see it is nine in the morning so she sits up and stretches her arms as she thinks about her day. She gets dressed into a comfy outfit before making her way downstairs to the kitchen. Everywhere she looks there are bouquets of different assortments of flowers everywhere But on the table are three different bouquets with a little note and a card for the girls.
"What is this?"
"The boys are feeling generous this year," Natasha pipes in following close behind Emily.
"What is going on exactly?"
"It's international women's day today." Wanda comes in with breakfast ready and starts to set plates down by everyone's seats.
"Right, I forgot that was today, and they do this every year?"
"Yep," Wanda and Nat say together and all the girls laugh.
"Well that's sweet of them. Happy ladies day to us girls!" Emily announces while cheersing her orange juice and the girls chuckle and cheers back in response.
"Good morning girls, happy womens day!" Sam comes in with a smile as he sits across from Natasha.
"Thank you Sam," they respond in unison and he just smiles as he starts to dig into his breakfast.
"So we have a surprise for you ladies." Vision states as he comes in and kisses Wanda on the cheek, the girls look over with a knowing smirk and Wanda smiles and blushes.
"What is it?" Emily asks as she sits up intrigued.
"Tonight we are going to a fancy restaurant, so dress elegant." Tony pipes in as he sits down next to Natasha.
"Works for me."
"Sounds great! Girls, we need to go find some fancy dresses, want to go to the mall?" Emily suggests and both girls nod and finish eating. "Great, let's meet down here in 15 minutes!"
"Hey--" Bucky starts as he sees Emily run past him, "what's going on?"
"The restaurant Barnes,"
"Oh right!"
The girls get their dresses and head back to the compound and get ready for the evening. They're in their rooms preparing for the night and taking showers. It is about five when they meet in Emily's room and get ready for the night before going downstairs to meet the boys in their fancy dresses.
Natasha: Emily: Wanda: (check heading)
"Woah" Bucky starts with as the girls make their way down and in front of the boys, Bucky stares right at Emily and she blushes slightly moving bits of her hair of her face.
"You ladies look stunning!" Thor starts and the girls smile.
"Don't look too bad yourselves gentleman," Natasha responds to them and they all tidy up their suits and smile.
Tony picks a chic restaurant, which isn't a huge surprise since Tony loves to go all out. As the group makes their way to their huge table, Emily is next to Bucky and has Wanda and Vision on her right, then Natasha, Bruce, Tony, Steve and Sam are on the other and Peter is at the head of the table.
A waitress comes to the table and asks everyone what their drinks order would be as she makes her way around the table, she obviously starts to flirt with Bucky. As she continues flirting with Bucky, Emily gets a bit discouraged and gets up to use the bathroom.
She makes her way to the bathroom door, a small frown forming on her face and before she reaches the door a man stops in front of her, stopping her from going inside. "Excuse me, I would like to go inside please."
"Awe okay, well let me come join you then, maybe I can help you with that frown of yours." He states in a gravelly voice and a creepy smile, he points his finger to her chin about to touch her before she starts to push him back.
"Get off of me!"
"Don't be so difficult darling I-"
Before he can finish his sentence Emily kicks him off of her and twists his arm hard behind his back and kicks him down to the ground. She huffs and ignores his groans and language as she makes her way back to the table fixing her hair.
"What happened?" Natasha asks, seeing her friend look a little disheveled.
"Nothing..."
"Don't lie to us Emily." Steve says in a stern voice and she sighs slightly keeping her head down.
"A guy was being very touchy and annoying so I knocked him down in front of the restroom okay?"
"I like her!" Thor states with a chuckle and cheers with his beer.
Bucky stands up, an agitated look on his face. "Where are you going?" Emily asks, quickly turning up to him.
"Going to go find him."
"Hey! No! It's okay, look." She points to the man coming out of the bathroom hallway holding his stomach. Bucky sits back down and Emily rubs his arm slightly telling him she's fine. They continue they're night and finish eating, and they head back to the compound.
