She reaches out her hand towards him as he accepts her hand with a nod. "Thanks," he says quickly and stretches up.
"Wait, didn't you just say that you weren't good?" Cap asks, walking over to the two of them.
"No, I said, I wasn't great, never said I wasn't good-" Emily starts as Nat comes over.
"Pay attention to the words Steve." Natasha says with a smile and chuckle.
"Did you know she was that good?"
"Honestly? No, I didn't, I haven't seen her train in months."
"Well the best moves I learned was from you Nat!" Emily states as she looks at her with a smile and Nat smirks back.
"Yeah, maybe you did, but you have your own skills now and you do your own things, I'm very proud of you!" Nat compliments her and they hug. "Now I'm going to start training you a little bit more for a couple hours and then we can prepare for the party tonight."
"Sounds good to me, let's do it!" Emily agrees and they shake hands. Soon everyone goes back upstairs except Emily and Natasha as the girls fight and train for a little while longer, trying for perfect punches and better sliding action.
After a little while the girls make their way back upstairs talking and laughing, Emily looks up and sees Clint standing in the doorway, her eyes immediately widened as she smiles. "Clint! It's so good to see you!" She says as she runs over and hugs him.
"Good to see you, little one, how are you?" Clint says as he hugs her back and looks at her.
"I'm good! How are you? Where have you been? You missed me coming in yesterday for my first day!" Emily asks all excitedly and Clint laughs as he tries to slow her down.
"Calm down, calm down, yesterday I was helping Laura on the farm. But I'm good, I'm here now for the party!" Clint states as he grabs her shoulders and laughs, she laughs a long and hugs him again.
"Okay, I'm going to go cook now so-" Wanda starts
"No! Wait, let me come help you cook!" Emily butts in as she grabs the wooden spoon from Wanda.
"You sure?"
"Yes, what I've realised is you always seem to cook for everyone, so today it's my turn to help!" She smiles to her
"Awe, okay, thank you Emily!" Wanda smiles at Emily. She smiles back and looks at everyone.
"You're welcome! Okay so now everybody out!" Emily states and they all start to chuckle as some begin to leave.
"You just like to kick everyone out huh?" Steve asks as he smirks slightly.
"Yeah a little bit." She smirks and shrugs back. After three long hours of cooking and planning, Emily has appetizers and a couple main course meals done with some help from Wanda coming to check in and Bucky who came in and helped set out bags of chips into bowls. As she finishes up she sets a nice size chocolate cake on the counter with a proud smile on her face.
As she was done preparing food for tonight she also made some sandwiches and fries for lunch for everyone. Wanda and Emily set up plates and food on the table. Emily walks to the intercom and clicks onto it. "Lunch is ready, come get it." As she goes and sets up herself at the spot she was sitting at yesterday. Wanda joins her and soon everyone is coming down.
"This looks awesome!" Peter states as he sits down and starts to dig in. Wanda just rolls her eyes.
"Yes this looks great, thank you." Steve starts and Emily cuts him off.
"Wait, what was that? Was that a-- compliment?"
"Well-"
"Yes it was." Sam says as he starts to tease him and they all laugh.
"Don't get used to it, I'm not saying anything else!"
