Throughout HTT, the "summer before" was mentioned by various characters (especially Taehyung and Jimin). The prequel of HTT, HOW TO BE HUMAN or HTH, starts during the summer before the events of HTT have taken place.
What does that mean? Here's a quick RECAP:
A prequel is basically a story that takes place before the main story, which is taekook. The summer before focuses a lot more on jikook's dynamic (and some yoonmin), the beginning of taehyung's convenience store crush on jimin, and also the issues surrounding Jimin and Jeongguk's friend group and why they fell apart.
There's a lot of drama and questions surrounding the summer, and so I saw it fit to write about it in a short story!

There unfortunately won't be any taekook (seeing that it happened in HTT), and it won't be narrated by Taehyung and Jeongguk since it's Jimin's story— HOWEVER they will be in the prequel!
Hopefully for those who love the HTT universe as much as I do would check this out! (: I promise you, it's definitely worth it! If you do decide to read and shower it in support, it is very much appreciated.
