Once Fenrir had gotten dressed, he made his way upstairs. He figured that the Dark Lord had needed him to scare the hell out of or to chase down some mudbloods or blood traitors down. He marched through the halls, passing the doorway of the parlor where he overheard some conversation between Bellatrix and Lucius.
"Has he lost his mind? I mean to suddenly stop the war! He's lost it! He's completely lost it! We're near victory and he now wants out?" Bellatrix screamed at the top of her lungs as if she wanted the whole world to know how upset she was. Fenrir paused he peered backwards. The war was over, he pondered, unable to believe it. After all, Voldemort had been spitting out how furious he was that the war wasn't moving in their favor just last night. Fenrir shook his head before he proceeded to head up further. He rounded the corner as he saw Wormtail standing outside the Dark Lord's door. Fenrir walked over to him, clearly unnoticed since Wormtail was too focused on the door and awaiting his master's ordered. Fenrir smirked as he lowered his lips to Wormtail's ears.
"Boo," he whispered as loudly as he could. Wormtail jumped so high that he fell onto his ass. Fenrir burst out laughing, clinging his hands to his chest, till his heart was starting to feel like it was about to pop out of it at any moment. Wormtail shot him a look of anger.
"That was not funny!" Wormtail whined as he climbed to his feet. Fenrir chuckled.
"It was a bit funny." Fenrir told him. Wormtail shook his head before lightly knocking on the door.
"My Lord, Fenrir is here." Wormtail mumbled. Fenrir mocked Wormtail by repeating the whole phrase of 'my lord'. Wormtail shot him a heated glare but before he could even say something Voldemort spoke first.
"Let him in." Voldemort said. Fenrir grabbed the knob and opened the door before sliding inside. Fenrir's eyes widened when he saw the entire mess inside. It was like a twister had ran through the entire room and didn't leave a single spot untouched. Voldemort sat in his chair by the window. When Voldemort took noticed of Fenrir's presence, he motioned for Fenrir to come closer.
"Fenrir, my friend, I must ask you to do me a favor," Voldemort stated. Fenrir paused as his entire hair stood up straight. Did he just called me his friend, he pondered, remembering all of the times Voldemort had called him everything in the book about him being a Half-Breed. Fenrir stopped himself till he was a few feet away from him to ensure he had the ability to get the hell away if Voldemort tried anything.
"What can I do for you, my Lord," Fenrir forced himself to say.
"I need you to gather all your members of the snatchers to find the Golden Trio. Focus only on those three. And no harm shall be done on Hermione." Voldemort stated to him. Fenrir narrowed his eyes in confusion but he nodded his head.
"Understood my Lord," Fenrir confirmed before he departed, curious of what has changed in Voldemort.
