I looked up and waited for her to finish the sentence

"However, treat my brother good" she smiled and closed the window while walking away

"Huh? What do you mean!!" i yelled in hopes for her to answer but she didn't even peek an eye.

I really don't know what she meant by 'treat my brother good' since I'm not in contact with her brother at all, and if i was, why didn't she tell me his name or.. At least explain?

I sighed and walked away, i have no plans for the further day so i decided to walk around the city with my thoughts for now. Sapnap was busy with his work today, and my other friends were too busy hanging out with their other friends too. George had to go to his next job and that's completely fine, however he should've told me what job he was talking about just so i know, I'd visit him by now

I got my phone out and clicked on Spotify which took it's time to load

'This side of paradise' the song has been playing on repeat whenever i opened Spotify. I don't see why not

I took out my headphones and clicked play as the music hit my ears

I started jamming to the song while passing by many families couples and kids, all of them were feeling the moment. So did i! Winter is in fact my favourite season.

I hummed to the song and continued walking forward, some of the street lights were broken so they were flickering all around the place

"Somebody! Help!" i heard some screams through my headphones and immediately took them off as the screams continued, it was coming from the subway, however the subway was not working at this time

I rushed down and noticed some man trying to kidnap a little girl around the age of 8

"Ayo man? The cops are already there, it's either you let the girl go or they fire right at you." i yelled as i slowly approached both of them

"No you didn't. You're just trying to scare me there" he pulled the girl closer while i sighed and laughed

"Really?"

The guy quickly let go of the girl and ran the opposite way when he saw the cops running at him behind me

The girl quickly ran towards me and greeted me with many tears rushing down her face and a hug

"It's alright" i kneeled down and wiped her tears

"Thank you for saving me" she mumbled

I didn't actually call the cops on the guy back there, i simply didn't have any time to react, the cops were probably somewhere nearby and that's why they came, there is a busy street nearby, and they were probably guarding the people for their safety and all

"What's your name?" i asked

"Annie" her eyes let down a couple more tears which she wiped down immediately
