Chapter 17

George pov

I ran after sapnap and we started looking for dream around the whole restaurant, we looked everywhere! But he was nowhere to be seen either

"What do we do now? He wasn't in the bathroom so"

"Let's just call the officiant and ask if she saw him or something."

I nodded and walked to the table where she usually would be at, they had a little bell on the table to probably call the officiant when she wasn't here, so i picked it up and rang it, but even after i did that, she wasn't anywhere

"Now this is pretty weird" karl shut his phone off and looked around

"Maybe we should check the kitchen y'know, there has to be someone there" i walked past them both and quickly ran in the kitchen where i saw... Dream? He was helping the worker cook

"Dream?" i looked at him and he quickly looked back with a smile

"hello, i was gone for only 5 minutes, what's the panic?" he approached me

"Well i don't know, sapnap just thought that you were gone for too long.." i backed away since we were pretty close

"I was just helping one of the workers there is no need to be worried" he laughed and lifted my chin up to look in my eyes

"However you seem pretty worried" he laughed while i slowly walked out of the kicthr to get out of his grip

"Just wanted to make sure you're fine, get back here soon" i laughed and walked out just to be greeted by sapnap and Karl staring at me with their arms crossed

"Who's the obvious one now?" karl pointed one of his fingers at my face

"Huh?" i raised my eyebrow and looked at sapnap who was laughing

"You forgot to close the door to the kitchen." he turned around and went back to our table with karl following him with light chuckles

"I wasn't the one to do that alright?!" i sat down and watched as people passed by the restaurant

Karl and sapnap continued to laugh about what happened back there, however dream was the one to start it, and before i knew it dream was already sitting by my side and looking at the menu

"Holy f- when did you get here?!"

He just laughed and picked out some food, right before the officiant finally came

"Sorry for the long wait, I've had business matters with my boss, but i am ready to take your order!" she pulled out a piece of paper and listened

"I'll have a salad and coffee" dream smiled

"Weird combination" i laughed and snatched the menu out of his hands

"I'll have a steak"

Brianna wrote it down while i handed the menu to Karl and sapnap

"Meat rolls for both of us" karl smiled and gave brianna the menu which she took right after writing our order down

"Alright thank you, you'll have to pay after you finished the food, however you can pay right now if needed. Your food will be prepared after 10 minutes!" she smiled and walked away

"She seems pretty nice" sapnap laughed as he looked at dream who was already staring at him

"Officiants have to be nice either way." dream scoffed

"I'm pretty sure i saw her somewhere before. But i don't really remember where"

"Yeah same here"
